"I'm calling off our wedding."

Nalaglag ang panga ko at hindi makapaniwalang tinitigan sya. "WHAT? Are you crazy? I mean, why would you---"

Bago pa ako matapos ang sasabihin ko ay nagsalita na sya. "I have personal reasons, Augustine. And besides, we both know we don't want this marriage. So, it is better to stop before we both regret marrying each other."

Napaiwas ako ng tingin. Alam ko namang pareho namin itong hindi gusto. I can easily accept the fact that he's canceling our wedding. But, now.. hindi ko kaya. And I don't know why.

Tinitigan ko sya. "No, the wedding will continue."

Kumunot ang noo nya. "Agustine, you don't want this do you?"

Natigilan ako at hindi nakapag salita.

"See? Alam kong hindi mo gusto. It's useless to---"

"Is this about, Selene, Khalil?" natigilan sya.

Sumeryoso ang ekspresyon nya. "Selene has nothing to do with this."

"Stop. Stop it, Khalil. Alam kong mahal mo pa sy---"

"WHY DO YOU EVEN CARE?!" halos mapalundag ako ng sigawan nya ako.

D-Did he just shout at me?

Napatingin ako sa pinto ng kwarto ni kuya Allen. It's a great thing naka-soundproof ang kwarto nya, kung hindi ay kanina pa nya nasugod si Khalil dahil sa pag sigaw sakin.

Napabuntong hininga ako. "Kahit anong gawin mo, the wedding will still continue."

Nag-igting ang panga nya. "Fine. Do whatever you want." nilagpasan nya ako but he stopped mid way. "But remember this, Augustine.. you will regret to be tied with me. I assure you." he said before completely going out.

Napalunok ako at nilingon ang pintong nilabasan nya. Shit. He even tried threatening me.

There is no way in hell I would let you escape, Khalil. Make sure to make me regret marrying you. Dahil hindi kita aatrasan.

I will do anything to get that goddamn bitch Selene from your mind, heart, soul, and body. Because. You. Are. Mine.
