Wounded angel wailing
inside the matrix of life.
No one can hear but me.
She keeps fighting the dark
in the middle of the maze.
Still fails to break the chain.
Tryin' to fly again, but broken
wings keeps trailing behind
Troubling my heart & mind alike.
Living in a bubble of dreams,
slept over truth these years
I couldn't feel her pain
Then the wind blew so hard
to lift the veil of my eyes.
It woke me up to the reality.
Now I see her shadow trapped
in my eyes, helpless she mourns
Making me scared to dream again.
