Chapter 3

Avery's POV
I was sitting here on the balcony of our apartment just staring at the city i heard a knock at the door Connor opened it I heard him say "oh hi Lauren she's on the balcony" it's been a week since I forgave Lauren Shawn told me my eyes got a light in them again but not as bright yet I still get lost in my thoughts Shawn helps me when I get nightmares or when I can't pick up Connor and Ava on time I felt her sit next to me neither of us have gone to school this week that's passed Lauren parents found out everything and were okay with it Shawn would bring us our school work I chuckled I saw a certain building I said "you see that building right now? The one with the green rooftop?" She said "yeah why?" I chuckled I said "I remember that building because when I was 12 it was an arcade and I was going to and I was walking and on my phone at the same time and I thought the doors were open they were I ran smack into the door" she laughed she said "it's Sunday are we going to school tomorrow?" I said "we are I think Shawn's bored without seeing us you know even when I was dating Camila Shawn would watch over me he always has but because of the secrets he knew I never let them close but he would look at you and me like it was watching a movie I swear if you would of gave him some popcorn he'd think he was watching a drama movie" she laughed again she said "you know what's weird?" I hummed in response she said "the girls are all I've know for the longest time they've been my friends for a while and when we would be apart I'd miss them and feel a little bit alone but this past week not once have I missed them I realized Shawn is a great guy it's just weird you know but you 2 are different all me and the girls talked about were relationships and gossip I could barely get them to study and sometimes my laugh and smile was forced but with you guys it's different you guys don't talk bad about anyone, you don't only care about relationships, we could sit in silence and we'd still be happy hell we literally cooked dinner together and it was the funniest time in the world I guess I just never thought of having any other friends then the girls so being with you and Shawn it's different but it's fun and I'm happier" I said "we are never letting Shawn cook again" we heard "oh come on I wasn't that bad" we looked Shawn we chuckled I said "CONNOR AVA!" They came running Ava said "yeah sissy?" I said "should we allow Shawn back in the kitchen?" Connor said "sure if you want to blow up our house" we laughed I said "okay go play and be careful please" they ran away Lauren said "Shawn you can be in the kitchen but you aren't ever cooking again because you would probably burn water so I pray the guy you marry can cook" Shawn said "if not we will end up at Avery's house" I chuckled I said "Lauren if me and you ever got married one day could you imagine living next to Shawn and his husband?" She said "literally everyday at like 6-7 pm Shawn and his husband would walk in our house and yell 'WHATS FOR DINNER?!?!'" Shawn said "I already do that" we laughed I said "see this is a good thing Shawn's gay because we can point out a girl who has a nice Shawn and he would just agree" we spent the rest of the day together and they spent the night Shawn has his own room and Lauren sleeps with me at night going to school tomorrow should be fun
We all woke up and got ready for school I decided to dress like myself together no hoodies or anything we were wearing these outfits
