Chapter 2

(F/S/F) - Favorite snack food

(F/TV/S) - Favorite TV show

(O/B/N) - Older brother's name (If you don't have one then feel free to make up a name)

(Y/S/N) - Younger sister's name (If you don't have one then feel free to make up a name)

It had been 5 days since school ended and you had never felt closer to yourself, (F/S/F), and the characters of (F/TV/S). You had spent these past 5 days binge watching (F/TV/S) and crying over all the beautiful moments. 

It's now day 6 and you had finally finished watching (F/TV/S). You got up to use the bathroom when you heard the door open. You hear footsteps in the living room and immediately you thought it was your brother having friends over, but then you remembered he was at a friend's house for the week. (Y/S/N) was at an overnight summer camp that didn't end for another two days. And your parents were on a work trip and wouldn't be back for another 2 hours. And it wasn't like them to bail on a work trip. Especially if it was their company.

You listened closer and heard voices.

"Come on! All we have to do is hack their files, erase all the evidence we were here and get out!"

"It's not that simple Darrel! We have to figure out where they keep the hard drive!"

"That shouldn't take long."

The two kept bickering when a third voice piped up.

"Are you two gonna keep bickering or are we actually gonna get stuff done?"

You immediately recognized the third voice as Baron Johnson. Ryker's dad and Vice President of your parents' company. You always knew he wanted the company for himself but you never thought he would go this far.

You were lost in thought until you heard footsteps climb up the stairs. You started to panic. 'Should I use my powers? Should I call the police? What should I do?'  You went through all your options until you decided on one.

You sneaked back into your room and grabbed your phone. You dialed 911 and quickly told them about your situation.

"911, what's your emergency?"

"There are 3 men in my house and they're trying to steal my parent's hard drive."

"Is there anyone else in the house?"

"No."

"Alright. What's your address?"

You told them your address and they told you they had people on the way. They asked you to stay on the line but you told them you have to do something first and hung up.

You focused on a picture of the hard drive in your mind and held out your hand and snapped your fingers very quietly. The hard drive appeared in your hand and you smiled. You were getting good at this.

You smiled to yourself but your smile disappeared quickly as you heard footsteps come close to your room. 

'Shit!'  you thought. You quickly flicked your had at your computer and it turned off. You shut it and hid it underneath your bed. You concentrated and you became invisible just as the guy you assumed to Darrel opened the door to your room. 

He stepped in and you noticed the gun in his hand and started to freak out. This had just gotten a lot more serious. He walked around the room and started rummaging through your things. It took all your self-control to not scream at him while he touched all your belongings. You moved in the opposite direction and slowly made your way towards your open window. As you crawled out the window to see the guy leaving your room. You let out a breath of relief and spider-crawled up to your roof. You made it up to the roof and looked over to the driveway to see your parents pull into the driveway.
