A Wolfs Tale

Chapter 9

I get the feeling this is not going to end well.

We finished up our training and headed back to the den. On our way back we were talking about battle tactics, and what to do to trick your opponents.

I have to say, Bone was extremely mad when we got back. No, scratch that. Extremely mad was an understatemant. If looks could kill shadow and I would drop dead right there. She was glaring at us with rage and annoyance. 

"Have fun with that, I'll be going to my den now. " shadow whispered to me. As she walked off I shot a cold glare at her retreating form. I mentally sighed.  Might as well get this over with. I mean I am a little angry at Bone for running off like that in the middle of training. And they say I'm the short tempered one...

I walked over to her and asked, "What happened back there?!" with anger in my tone.

"Shouldn't I be asking that!" she said with a growl,"You embarrassed me in front of every other wolf in there!"

"So, we are sisters." I said, calming down a little bit.  She looked at me shocked.  But I could tell that she was still going to get revenge.

"That doesn't explain why you had to trip me every time!" she said back. I internally smirked. This is the perfect opportunity to mess with her!

"oh! Did the wittle bone get hertsy?" I cooed at her. She growled at me. If she wasn't so mad at me right now,  I would be on the floor rolling around in laughter. 

"Your not off the hook just yet!" she said while walking towards our den. After she was out of sight I let out a burst of laughter. Every wolf that was in the clearing looked at me like I was crazy, I just brushed off their looks and kept laughing.

After about a minute, I fixed my composure  and got the dry blood off my ear from earlier today. I left the clearing to go get something to eat. All that training and laughing really makes me hungry.

After I finished my meal I walked back to the den and saw a note by my resting space.

It was a note from bone saying that she was with feather. Probably asking more about the blood moon and our powers. Assuming that she is fine a decided to go to sleep.

I was running through a dark forest weaving in and out of trees. this dream again.  the air around me with thick, and I was surrounded by dark menacing trees. I could taste the blood in my mouth from running so hard and my legs were aching, trying to run from whatever was chasing me. I could feel the wind in my fur as I was running, I could feel the rush and the thrill of the chase.

Where was I running, I had no clue what so ever or where I was going. All I knew in the thrill of the moment, was that I had to get away. I didn't even dare look behind me to see what was there. My legs were getting weaker by the second and it was getting harder to breath, I could hear the unknown creature approaching fast. I had to keep going.

I ran harder and faster until I could feel my paws start to bleed. I wasn't giving up that easily. I let my guard down and looked behind me, but I hit a tree before I could get a glimpse of what was there. I felt the warm red liquid run down my forehead.

The thing that was chasing me closed in. When I got up I saw another wolf, it had glowing violet eyes and it's figure was a dark black mist. It looked like me in a way. Except I wasn't all misty and stuff.

I got up ready to fight the other wolf tired or not, I was going to fight. but before I could do anything the wolf launched at me, it's body merging with mine.

I could feel it's power and energy. I had its glowing eyes, my purple markings changed, and there was a symbol on my shoulder, it looked like a tribal dragon.

When I saw the dragon is when I woke up. that same dream again, what does it mean? atleast I got farhter than I did last time.  

I looked next to me and saw Bone sleeping. Whatever dream she's having must be interesting because her tail is twitching. Well,  might as well go early to training with shadow, Bone will wake up sooner or later.

Long time no see,  I hoped you liked the chapter sorry it's been so long,  with school starting back up again I have a lot of work to do and I don't have a lot of free time to write, and my parents have very high expectations of me when it comes to grades.
