Some idea I came up with since I was listening to a song called Insanity by Volcoid

Gray eyes snapped open from the worst nightmare he had had yet. His ears twitched ever so slightly hearing the soft voices he hadn't heard in quite awhile. The moan escaped his mouth and made the voices giggle. He could hear them getting stronger and stronger, feeling weight press on his skull. Something that he couldn't touch, something that he knew so well.

Hello, nice to meet...

You seem familiar, have I met you before?

Goodbye, sweetie

Nice to see you

Haven't talked in quite awhile

They taunt him now, make him laugh at his own mistakes, make him greet this thing with much more ease. Well, until he heard a much friendlier laughter. This time he fought it, fought that thing he had feared since he knew it existed.

Insanity

The weight of air is torture

Psychopathy

Don't know who I am anymore

Insanity

The allusion of ignorance

Captivity

Why don't you take a chance?

It was suffocating him now.

He couldn't breath quite right, he couldn't scream for help. His friends were right downstairs, but the stupid thing wouldn't let him. It was visible to him now, the dark inky substance crawling up his body, threatening to tighten its hold.

Insanity

The weight of the air is torture

Psychopathy

Don't know who I am anymore

Insanity

The allusion of ignorance

Captivity...

He fought against it like he always had. The voices grew, sounding so loud in his room. Why did it seem the room was growing smaller?

Suddenly, he managed a strangled scream that didn't make it out the door.

His light green fur drowning in the black substance. He could almost smile in relief, taking in that he couldn't feel anything.

He lost now.

It was to strong.

His green fur with the light gray stripes fades into darkness. The green part turning darker until it was completely black as the gray stripes darkened into a stormy gray. His sword appeared on his back, the once blue hilt now black, almost invisible against the black fur.

And then he opened his eyes, now blood red.

Then he laughed.

A completely crazed one that went past the doors, down to his friends.

I'm sorry...

He grinned, jumping out of the bed, grabbing his sword and swinging it out.

"Haven't done this in awhile..." The voice came from the once sane hedgehog, but this tone was much darker.

The voices now echoed, giving advice to him....

The corruption has taken me...
