Wayo true to his word had mellowed down a notch at school. Still kept the bad boy image but fought less, payed more attention in school and had got his grades back to normal.
Ming has been surprisingly a lot of help with his academics and general state of mind. The male even convincing Wayo into talking with his father although it had been through a blurry skype call but he got a lot of things off his chest and his father could worry a little less about him now.

Life was great. He had a father who cared. And a best friend who would do anything for him. Phana had slowly faded and become a distant terrible memory.

Today was a Saturday. Wayo's father was still overseas and Ming's parents managed to rope him into one of their boring rich people country club activities their son had been disregarding in favor of being with Wayo. But not this time. So that had left Wayo to be bored all alone, relying on the occasional text from his friend for entertainment as he didn't feel up to reading some one piece today. Then spontaneously he decided exploring his  large room would be a good idea.

Half an hour later and Wayo had found some of his older shoes and clothes  in his walk in closet all reminders of the him before leather jackets, ripped jeans, and darker tones. He couldn't say he missed the old him because despite him only changing for a while now his old personality seemed like a distant memory. Foggy and confusing. The new him wasn't fully him but now the old him felt too unfamiliar to be him too.

He was now knelt down checking under his bed for anything interesting which surprisingly wasn't hard. Finding two objects just a bit away from arms reach.
His eyes had grown wide, mouth dry and stomach dropped when he pulled out the familiar book and box from beneath his bed. It was a scrapbook he started a few years back for school but had slowly turned into a book for every and all thing Phana Kongthanin. The box contained a bracelet he had planned on giving Phana on that tragic day for him to remember him by. Now it just sat underneath his bed, surprisingly haven't collected dust. He'd probably have the maids to thank for that. And now staring at him as a quite painful reminder of his stupidity.

He sat on his bed findings clutched in his arms and eyes fixed on them in a flurry of mixed feelings. He could remember after the Phana incident Ming had made him get rid of everything that reminded him of the monster but Wayo still a love sick puppy despite his rip apart heart had quickly hidden the box and scrapbook beneath his bed. Instead letting Ming tear down the hung up pictures and little shrine he made for the jerk.

His eyes seemed to be glued to the book,as he delicately let his fingers skim over the surface as though his subconscious was scared of being close to anything relating Phana or still trying to treat all thing involving the male as though sacred. He shook his head refusing to believe the latter.

His hand went to the edge of the book, lip caught between his teeth as he weighed the pros and cons of opening it. His willpower won and he was tossing the book and box down, kicking them under the bed with his feet as though to prove a personal point by not handling them with care.

I'll get rid of it later.

He thought confident at his willpower but a part of him knew he would crack eventually.

Turns out eventually would only be a couple hours.

It was now late into the evening and he was sat on his bed mind reeling with thoughts of Phana. Some happy and others terrifying. But they willed him to break his resolve and retrieve that cursed scrapbook from beneath his bed once more, curling up into his covers and this time after going over the cover he opened it. Flipped through pages, eyes drinking up everything and letting nostalgia hit him in waves. He missed watching Phana from afar. Taking discrete pictures and capturing beautiful moments where the male was happy even when it wasn't with him. Moments of the male at school events, receiving awards and recognition for his smarts, playing sports. Wayo could now see how obsessed he had been and it disgusted him how in this very moment he let himself think of how he might be able to have a flicker of a crush for the male still. But maybe just maybe Phana wasn't a homophobic asshole. Maybe he was having a bad day. Maybe.......

Maybe I'm making stupid excuses

Ming would be ashamed of me

The thought of his best friend had him shutting the book in a swift sudden motion. And then it and the box were tossed back under the bed without second thought. Guilt spread through him,a horrible feeling that made his skin crawl and heart ache so hard it felt physical. Ming had worked so hard to be a good friend and he was betraying him by letting himself fall back into square one. He pulled a pillow over his head, holding it tight and screaming his frustration into it before letting his hands fall spread at his sides not bothering to remove the pillow from over his head.

Suddenly there was a knock on his room door. Wayo groaned annoyed into the pillow before pulling it off from  his head to answer whoever it was.

"Go away!"
He yelled from where he lay not caring enough to be polite as he usually was to the workers in his home. But rather than hearing muffled footsteps the door was opened and Wayo sat up ready to tell off whoever it was.

"Didn't I tell you too..."
His words died in his throats when he faced the culprit who had his head poking from behind the door,a huge grin on his handsome face.

"Hey."
Ming greeted as he let himself in closing the door behind himself but before he could make a step toward his friend the smaller male had already rushed to him and wrapped arms around the male's waist nuzzling his face into his chest.

"Ah. My little Wayo missed be a lot, didn't he?"
Ming said teasingly and received a hard smack to the bicep but a muffled yes followed after.
Wayo moved his head back enough that he could look up at the male, bottom lip caught between his teeth and gaze suddenly too heated and almost suggestive.

"I missed you."
He said and Ming just hummed gently his hand having unconsciously nested itself in the smaller males locks idly petting it. Wayo, now impatient just dragged the male down by his shirt collars and placed a hard peck to his lips.

"I. Missed. You. So much."
Wayo said again, punctuating his words with harsh kisses that had teeth clashing and noses bumping. His hands  had moved to the male's hair, the angle a bit awkward from how the taller had to bend but he wasn't complaining.

"Really? Just how much did you miss me?"
Ming asked aiming for a teasing tone but his voice went airy as Wayo's lips met his neck, kissing and sucking hard enough he was certain it'll form hickeys. The boy soon let his lips move away with a small pop, staring at his work for a moment before backing away.

"Not enough."
Wayo answered a cheeky little smirk on his lips as he entirely backed away from his friend to relax back in the comfort of his bed. Ming just staring at him with a sad pout at being left hanging.

"That's not funny, Yo."
He whined as he walked over to join his friend, carelessly tossing his small bag he had slung over his shoulder down. He crawled over the smaller male, perfectly caging him under his arms which supported him. He leaned down to steal a kiss but the other just moved his face away causing the kiss to land on his cheek instead and Ming to whine childishly. Wayo only laughing at his friends dilemma.

"You left me for boring old rich people."
Wayo folded his arms feigning annoyance which Ming easily saw through. A chuckle escaped the male and Wayo couldn't help but break out of character and cracking a smile, but he played along nonetheless.

"I'm sorry. I didn't realize my clingy friend would miss me. Can you forgive me for choosing those boring rich people over my darling,precious,amazing..."

"Yah! Enough with the sucking up."
Wayo said lighthearted now facing the male once again with an amused expression. He pushed gently at the others chest indicating for him to move away which he did laying beside the male now.

"I forgive you by the way dummy."
Wayo spoke up after a few beats of comfortable silence. Then the night progressed them acting like silly kids, watched a movie and played around Wayo's mansion even. It was great. Good fun that gave Wayo peace of mind in those happy moments.
