; Third Person P.O.V;
Marcel wakes up on the floor, confused about how she got there in the first place. She sits up and hears someone stirring in their sleep. Marcel looks over to see Sierra freaking Williams herself lying next to her on the ground. She looks at the time and sees 3 p.m. She suddenly remembers today is Friday and she missed the bus home.
; Marcel's P.O.V; 2 days before.
We've been here for a week. My stupid friends dragging me on this stupid trip. I've only enjoyed myself when I could eat and when I could sleep. Touring Beijing, China was definitely not a dream of mine. I guess now it doesn't have to be one. We leave on Friday at 1:00 pm, the bus leaving at 1:50 p.m. I got my bags already packed to go, I'll be fine with the one outfit I have on. I'm sitting in the hotel's cafe waiting for my friends. They have 15 more minutes to show or else I'm leaving.
Ding. Ding. Ding.
I watch as Lina and Rudy make their way inside giggling and laughing. They smile as they see me. And I frown in return. "What's up Mars?" Rudy says as he sits next to me. Lina takes the chair on the other side of the table. "Just waiting for you two dimwits," I say, rolling my eyes. "Rudy just told me a funny story about how the kids at the pool were getting chased by a dog." Lina gleams. "Noah fell in the pool, it was funny but also hot cause when he got out you could see his abs through his shirt." Rudy chuckled. Lina frowned but quickly hid it looking away. "I'm happy you guys are enjoying the trip." I smiled. "Anyway, did you hear about the party tonight? Everyone has to come!" Lina squealed, she always did love to party. They both looked at me in unison. "No."
"Pleaseee?"
"No."
"With Noah on top?"
"No."
"Free coffee for the rest of the year?" Rudy offered.
"Fine." I decided to agree. "Only for the coffee."
Dragged on a trip and of course, dragged to a party. "You better be lucky I love you guys." I laughed. The other two laughed as well.
; Time for the party;
I make my way downstairs with my phone in my pocket, ready to head to the party. Who brings enough money on a trip to China to buy a whole party sized hotel room? Dumbest thing I've ever heard of, yet everyone is so excited to go to this party. I see my friends in Rudy's car and hop in. We had just been texting and most the text was me complaining about how I don't want to go but they force me to come. "WHO'S READY TO PARTAYYYYYY!" Rudy screams before pulling off and blasting music. "Not me," I mumble.
Once we arrive they both pull me out the car, I got a little bit excited but only because they were happy. But once we entered the room I felt anxious. A crowd was already formed but it seemed like another one was forming. Rudy and Lina are instantly separated from me and I start to panic. I don't hang out with these people and I don't like any of them. Moving my way into the corner I try to avoid any contact with anyone.
; Sierra's P.O.V;
I've never seen Marcel at a party but as soon as she catches my eye I can't seem to look away. My boyfriend Shawn has his arm around my waist as he chats it up with his friends. My friends at talking with them but I'm
focused. On Marcel.
She seems so nervous, she knows she doesn't belong in this type of scene. Her black shiny hair falling in her face as she fixes her jacket. Her shiny hazel with specks of red eyes looking down. "Be back in a quick second, gonna grab a drink," I mumble as I slip away from my friends. I make my way over to her and we make eye contact. Marcel looks like she's about to move but I swiftly block her way. "Hey, I'm Sierra. Don't you usually hang out with your two friends?" I ask examining her. She looks even more special up close. She opens her lips but shuts them and nods. "I lost them, I'll just wait till they find me or text them that I left." Marcel mumbles. I giggle. "Well let me entertain you while you wait." I smile. "No thanks go back to your group of cliches." She grunts. I can't help but continue to look her over, then she sighs annoyed. "Another plastic."
