We were watching her and Lauren dance to just the way you are they looked like me and mike we were young completely just in love with each other were smiling at them the 5 of them are like a family and honestly we love having them around I felt a tap on my shoulder we look Alejandro also Sinu and the other girls I said "hey" we continued smiling at Lauren and Avery Sinu said "how can you let Lauren date her?" I said "what do you mean?" Alejandro said "how can you let Lauren date someone who cheated on my daughter?" We looked at Camila and them mike said "you 4 still haven't figured out everything you missed about Avery have you?" Normani said "we didn't miss anything" I said "what would you say her life is like?" Camila said "perfect of course" Sinu said "she's rich her parents are sweet what's so bad?" I chuckled I said "no they were good parents in front of guess you see Shawn was the first to notice something was off about her when they were younger she only ever wore long sleeves even if the summer he had his thoughts on why and in 7th grade he proved himself correct when he saw a bruise on her jaw you see to you guys she had a perfect life was rich and her parents were nice that's what everyone thought but behind those closed doers was 17 years of abuse to Avery beatings were normal to her that's why she never expected any of you to stay in her life honestly but she hid the bruises and the scars with make up because her parents image a few days before you broke up with her Camila her parents died and she took over the family business you see when you guys look at her you see a girl who has never had any struggles and is happy but when we look at her we see a girl who survived years of abuse, a girl whose running a global empire, was keeping straight A's and raising her siblings at the same time Lauren had Shawn explain everything to us and we knew he was telling the truth when we saw her those 3 months where she was just alone she didn't sleep much she was stressed so much she didn't have time to all you had to do was wipe he make up off her face and you'd see the purple bruises from the lack of sleep the signs of abuse were there it's just none of you paid attention hell she had fear and pain in her eyes when she looked at anyone including you guys she had the same look when she met us the first time she grew up with money but it wasn't a good thing either Shawn constantly watched over her to see how things had changed he knew every secret without even talking to her and none of us had a clue we didn't see how she flinched when we we yelled or if we raised a hand or how she wouldn't strip in front of anyone she didn't cheat Camila because physically,mentally and emotionally her having sex with someone triggers flashbacks but Lauren told us it was Austin who told you we figured it was him liking you was nothing new to anyone you may of been oblivious but everyone around you knew he wanted you but when Lauren went back to her both her and Shawn helped Avery Lauren started helping her sleep again she'd make Avery relax if she got to stressed the week they didn't go to school at first we didn't understand until Shawn told us why Lauren wasn't going and we understood she wanted to help Avery so they stayed home and Shawn went to school their like a little family and we've never seen Lauren so happy then when she's with them"
