Aoyagi Hajime: Stuck

"Jun, jun, help me with Math after school." You whined, whilst tapping him on the shoulder for quite a while now.

"Alright, alright, fine. Just one thing, can Aoyagi come?"

"Sure! The more the merrier, plus I've been wanting to know him better, ha!"

"Ho-ho, say, do you have feelings for him?" He flashed a smile at your direction. You sighed.

"You can assume that, but I just want to know him more, that's all."

"I'll believe that for now. So, later at the park, 6 pm sharp?"

"Alright!" You replied, before ogling at your notes again.

Classes were sure torturing, but after 2 hours of History and Mathematics, classes were finally over, thankfully.

You glanced at your wrist watch, and decided to go to the mall to shop for food. Well, studying without food is kinda... lifeless, right?

After buying some biscuits and some drinks, which you blindly picked, you decided to head to a bookshop.

"Books!" You exclaimed, which attracted wanted and unwanted attention.

"Oh, (l/n)-san?" Slowly glancing side wards, you see Aoyagi.

"Ahaha, hello there Aoyagi."

"Oh, are you by chance looking for this?" He showed a book whose cover bore the title of your favorite series. It was the newest book.

"H-how!? Gimme-!" You tried reaching for the book, but instead of giving it to you, he raised it in the air.

Your height was that of a middle schooler, which made it easier for him to tease you. He raised it once more in the air, making you jump.

"Haha, you are cute when you are hyper, (l/n)-san." Stunned by his words, you looked at him. He gave you the book and patted your head.

"Bakaoyagi....." (a pun which really meant, 'Idiot Aoyagi') You muttered under your breath.

After paying for the book, you left the book shop, bringing with you Aoyagi.

"Where next?" Aoyagi asked.

"The park, I guess." He nodded in response.

Both of you entered the nearest elevator to reach the ground floor faster. Surprisingly, there was no one inside the elevator but you two.

A sudden tremor suddenly occurred, making you grab Aoyagi's hand.

"A-aoyagi..." He intertwined both of your hands together while his other hand continuously patted your head.

Then a sudden bang was heard before the elevator before it suddenly went down in seconds. Your hand squeezed his tighter, but he didn't let go. Lights suddenly started flickering before finally surrendering to the darkness.

"Must be an earthquake, I guess..." Aoyagi stated calmly.

"I'm afraid Aoyagi-" You sat down, before finally breaking down. Being trapped in an elevator wasn't fine, but having no lights? It's worse.

The paper bags that were once at your side was replaced his figure. He cuddled you, bringing you closer unto him. The tears that were once wet were now dried by the sudden comfort he gave you.

"Surely, the signal here is low. Does your phone work, (l/n)-san?" Checking your phone for a miracle, you sighed. It was low on battery.

"Nope... Battery dead..."

"Hah, we're in a sticky situation..." In the darkness, you saw him smile innocently at you. "Guess we need to wait for people to respond."

"Yeah..." Your head slowly inclined towards his shoulder, whereas he did the same.

Sources of light were deprived, yet what lacked was supplied by the warm sensation you were experiencing through his kind, warm actions.
