Eva's P.O.V.
I wake up to the sun shining through my white silk curtains. I glance over my shoulder to my bedside table clock.
7:03 A.M.
SAT.
I grab my phone and unplug the charger from it. I check my Instagram and like some posts. Once I get bored of Instagram, I lock my phone and place it on my bedside table. I slide my baby pink blanket off of my body and head to the bathroom. I brush my teeth, wash my face, and take a shower. I wrap a fluffy white towel around my body and go to my closet to pick out something to wear. After looking through my closet I pick out a white cotton dress.
I make my way downstairs and the smell of bacon and pancakes hit my nose. I see my mother pouring pancake mix into a skillet. I mentally roll my eyes. She only cooks a breakfast like this when she's about to head off on a business trip.
"Good morning, sweet pea," my mother says to me once she notices my presence.
"Morning, mom," I say as I take a seat at the counter. "Business trip again?" I ask and take my lip in between my teeth.
She places a plate of food in front of me and gives me a sad smile. "Yes, honey I'm so sorry," she says apologetically.
"It's alright, mom. I understand," I say as I tear apart my pancakes with my fork.
My mom is a CEO of a company, so that means she has to travel a lot.I don't mind that she has to go on these trips, but that she always feels a need to leave me with a babysitter. I'm 16 years old. I can surely take care of myself. But my mother thinks otherwise.
"Make sure to clean up after yourself, you're going to meet your babysitter," My mother tells me as she walks out of the kitchen. I finish up my breakfast and put my dishes into the sink and rinse them. I walk into the living room and sit on the couch.
"He'll be here in a few minutes," my mother smiled at me.
I just nodded. I really didn't want to get stuck with some random old man. This is the first time that I would have a male babysitter.
The sound of the doorbell ringing brings me out of my thoughts. I turn my head in the direction of the door as my mother goes to open it.
"She's right over here," my mother says as she moves aside, letting the stranger come in.
I look up and my eyes go wide looking at the man standing in front of me. I take in his appearance. Shoulder length brown curly hair, emerald green eyes, and plump pink lips.
"You must be Eva! I'm Harry," The man says while holding out his hand. I place my hand in his gently, noticing how much bigger his were than mine. The tattoos all up his arm grab my attention. I feel the urge to want to trace them with my fingertips.
"Nice to meet you, Harry," I say quietly.
"So I'll be gone for the next two months and..," My mother begins explaining how her trip is going to be to Harry.
I quickly zone out and Harry begins to flood my mind. He is the most attractive guy I've ever laid eyes on. Everything about him seems perfect. While laughing at something my mother says, I notice his deep dimples which make my heart swell. This will be a very interesting two months.
"Eva," My mom says while placing a hand on my shoulder. I quickly nod as I feel my cheeks burning and turning a light shade of red. I look up to Harry and immediately notice the smirk on his face.
