The day goes by quite quickly and before i know it, it's lunch. I haven't been in any of Veronica's classes today so i'll finally get to talk to her after the crash.

I walk outside holding my tray with my good hand. I walk towards our usual table and spot Veronica. As i sit down she glances down at my wrist.

"It's sprained." Veronica asks. I nod my head and she looks at me sadly. "Oh my god B, that's awful. This is my fault, i made you come with me for my stupid spanish book." she says.

"It's fine honestly."

I begin to feel eyes on me. I glance to my right to make eye contact with Peter Parker. I give him a slight smile that seems to bring him back to reality. He immediately looks down and i giggle a little.

"What?" Veronica asks, glancing over at where i'm looking. "What are we laughing at?" she questions, searching the other benches. Suddenly her gaze hardens on something she's seen. "So Peter...?" she says slowly, turning back to look at me with a slight smirk.

"What about him?" i ask, taking a bite from a strawberry. She gives a quick laugh, tossing her raven hair out of her face. "Do you like him?" she asks.

I roll my eyes dramatically. "V i've probably spoken to him a total of 3 times." i say with a slight laugh.

"So? I spoke to Archie about twice before we first kissed in the closet." she says matter of factly. I giggle as Archie and Jughead sit down.

"What are we talking about?" Jughead asks, jumping into the seat next to me. "Nothing" Veronica answers with a small wink in my direction.

PETER

I sit next to Michelle and opposite Flash on the lunch bench. I quickly greet everyone before turning my attention to Betty walking out to Veronica. She sits and they chat for a bit before her eyes swiftly meet mine. I quickly look down embarrassed and after a bit i look back up. Her and Veronica are laughing and Archie and Jughead greet them.

I notice a girl approaching our table. I turn my head and see the distinctive red hair of Cheryl Blossom. I even notice Michelle straighten up a bit at the sight of her.

She reaches the end of our table giving us a bright smile. She throws her hair to one side of her head "Hello Liz, friends of Liz." she greets, glancing at everyone at the table before looking back at Liz. "New cheer outfits have arrived today and i need you to come try yours on." Liz stands and waves us all goodbye before walking off behind Cheryl.

"She's hot." Flash says and i roll my eyes, turning back to look at Betty. Her hair which is normally tied back, is free around her shoulders.

Suddenly Kevin Keller runs, no, sprints up to their table. They all look up at him and suddenly their happy expressions become shock. They all grab their bags and evacuate the table, running into the school.

I look around in confusion. Everything seems perfectly normal. So what made them so distressed. "Umm guys, i gotta go-uh- hand in my assignment." i say grabbing my bag.
"For what class?" Michelle asks. "Umm bio."
"Dude we're in the same bio class. There is no assignment." she states. "Sorry, i meant spanish." i tell her before running off.
"Dumbass" i hear her mutter under her breath as i move away from the table and towards the school.

BETTY

"So, did i tell y'all that i visited New York in Summer?" Veronica questions to which we all laugh. "Yes i believe you have" Jughead chuckles and Archie grins.

I turn my head slightly to see Kevin run up to the edge of our table. "Hey Kev." i greet him. "Kevin you alright?" Jughead asks. "There's something i think you should see." he tells us. We all stand quickly and run after him into the school.

We walk down the hallways until we get to the front of the school. We see two police cars sitting in the lot and a few officers talking to Principle Weatherbee. They both look serious.

"Kevin what's going on? What's this about?" Veronica asks him. He looks over at us but his eyes land on Archie. "They're here because this is Grundy's old school. They're asking some questions." We look at him confused. "Did they find out about us? Is that why they're here?" He asks worriedly. Kevin shakes his head. "No. Last night, Grundy was murdered."
