Avery's POV
Me and Lauren officially adopted Ava and Connor they stared calling us mommy and mama it's adorable now we're pulling into Lauren's parents house they knew we officially adopted them we let Ava and Connor out of the car Shawn got out as well he practically lives with us I locked the Range Rover and we walked inside the house Ava and Connor yelled "GRANDPA GRANDMA!!!" Straight to mike and Clara we chuckled we walked in after them Shawn plopped himself in between Chris and Taylor then we realized Camila and then were here with Camilas parents I said "Hello" sinu said "nice to see you Avery" I nodded mike said "how's the company?" I said "better then ever after I climbed out of the hole of debt my parents left Lauren's at Miami U and Shawn's working with me he practically lives with us"  Clara said "you planning the wedding?" Me and Lauren looked at each other we smiled Alejandro said "wedding?" Chris said "Avery proposed a couple days ago" Lauren said "actually mom were leaving the planning to you and Taylor I'm at school and she's running the company just don't kill her bank account" Taylor said "we won't you have a date in mind" I said "next summer probably" they nodded Shawn said "you guys seen the 2 tattoos she got?" Mike said "no" I stripped my shirt off I said "Lauren's signature on my chest and then Lauren's, Shawn's and my siblings names you should of seen the guy and girls faces when they saw my scars" Clara said "how many exactly are there?" I said "never actually counted them but I know there 30 or more upper body and there's about 20 on my legs and such so either 50 or above" I shrugged sinu said "why didn't you tell anyone?" I said "I'd rather deal with the pain then get them arrested and possibly lose Ava and Connor in the foster system my body doesn't react to pain much anymore they had an image to uphold and if I did anything to make them look bad the beatings would get worse" I wrapped my around Lauren from behind she leaned into me Chris said "how's the house?" Lauren said "oh you mean the one I keep getting lost in" i said "I didn't make it rocket science I'll be right back I gotta use the bathroom" she nodded and pecked my lips I went upstairs into the bathroom I looked at my tattoos and I put the stuff on them I heard "were sorry?" I looked Camila and the girls I furrowed my eyebrows I said "for what?" Dinah said "everything that happened during senior year" I said "I forgave you guys graduation day I wasn't gonna hold a grudge Austin lied to you it happens but I'm happier then ever before I'm marrying Lauren, Ava and Connor officially were adopted by us, I'm running the family company, and she's in school at Miami U we live together I'm happy and for once in so long I can say I'm okay me and Lauren both forgave you I had to teach her to forgive herself don't worry about it you 4 are fine" I heard "BABE??!?" I walked down stairs I said "yes princess?" I sat on the couch she smiled at me she came and sat on my lap she laid her face in my neck I wrapped my arm around her waist she said "you okay?" I said "yeah I just don't feel good I haven't since this morning" she felt my forehead she said "you're warm" I nodded and shivered a little she said "mom dad can we leave Ava and Connor with you for a little while so she can go home and sleep?" Clara said "of course go ahead we will keep Shawn for you as well" Shawn said "I'm fine with it" we got up we walked out of the house and got in the car I curled up on the seat Lauren put her hand on mine I held on to it tightly I felt sleepy but I stayed awake until we got home she helped me up to our room and helped me get out of my clothes I just put shorts on but left a shirt off she laid me in bed she went to live I grabbed her wrist I said "Stay ?" She gave me sad eyes she said "of course princess" she changed clothes and got in bed next to me I put my head on her chest I said "I love you" she said "I love you sing to me"
Lauren's POV
As soon as she said that I smiled I said "of course princess anything?" She said "anything just hearing your voice makes me feel better" I held her close and kissed her head I started singing to her

I looked down and she was asleep I smiled and held her closer I kissed her forehead

2 hours later...

I had been downstairs until I heard "LOLO!!!" I dropped my book and ran upstairs to Avery I went into our room she was crying and in pain I said "princess what's wrong?" She said "Something's wrong take me to the hospital please" I nodded I picked her up I grabbed our things and the car keys I rushed to the hospital I carried her in I said "Nurse help please" they came with a gurney doctor said "what's wrong with her?" I said "I don't know she wasn't feeling well so I had laid her down to sleep next thing I know she's waking up screaming saying something is wrong and clutching her stomach" doctor said "might be her appendix check it" I took out my phone I called Shawn he answered

-hey lo
-Shawn? *my voice cracked*
-lo what's wrong?
-I don't know she went to sleep woke up screaming she was clutching her stomach were at the hospital right now I'm trying not to panic right now
-okay just breathe laur we will come to you right now
-okay

I hung up I sat down I put my head in my hands my legs were shaking I was praying to the fucking gods that she was okay she's everything to me then my parents, my siblings, Shawn and our kids came rushing in they saw me Ava and Connor said "mama!" I hugged them Clara said "Lauren what happened?" I said "I laid her down when we got back home after leaving you guys and I sang her to sleep and then I went downstairs to read a book and 2 hours later she's screaming my name at the top of her lungs so I rushed upstairs she was crying and clutching her stomach I asked her what was wrong she said something wasn't right and to bring her here so I did there with her right now" we all sat down and just waited

3 hours later...

I heard "Avery Tyler?" We all stood up the doctor saw me he said "good thing you brought her in" Shawn said "is she okay?" He said "her appendix was inflamed and I don't think she ever knew and it finally burst that's why she got randomly sick if you would of waited any longer to bring her in the damage would be worst but she's gonna be asleep for 2 or 3 days just to give her body time to heal properly you can go be with her in the room" he guided us there I rushed to her side and held her hand Connor said "mommy okay?" I said "mommy will be okay she's gonna rest and get better" Taylor said "we will go get everyone food we will be back soon?" I nodded I kissed Avery's head and just sat there with her I thought 'she's so strong I love this woman more then anything'
