A Laxlu Story

chapter 3

Laxus P.O.V

We soon started to walk towards the guild. I kept on glancing at Lucy. Im so worried about her. She kept on being abused and didn't tell any one?! I swear when i see Natsu, im killing him. I looked at her again and saw that she was a bit nervous but was really scared. I done the only I could think of. I grabbed her hand and when she looked at me, I had a small blush on my face and a small smile to reassure her that I won't let any one hurt her, harm her. To let her know, Im her protecter. She smiled back at me also with a small blush on her face. She's so beautiful. I fell for her.
"Um Laxus I n-need a new place to stay. Natsu will come to my place and hurt me more than what he has" I heard her say
"You can stay with me Lucy. Ill get you some new clothes too to mask your scent so he wont track ya" I said. I really had no problem with her staying with me. It's the least i could do for not knowing about Natsu hurting her.
"Thank you so much Laxus" She says then she hugs me. I was suprised at first but i imediantly hugged back. I could smell her strawberry and vanilla scent even better when she hugged me. Thank you nose. She smells so sweet but I was pulled out of paradise when she had let go and started to walk again. I followed her, walking beside her, holding her hand. If you saw us walking down the street, you could say we looked like a couple. Oh how much i wish that were true but no, we're best friends and I was happy with that but I wish we could be more. We soon arrived at the guild. As I was holding her hand, I felt that they were shaking. Like she was afraid to go in. That made me pissed. No one should be afraid to go into their guild. Their second home.
"Dont be scared. I'll protect you" I said. She nodded her head
"Yea thanks" And then we walked in. I still held her hand and we walked upstairs to my office. Everyone was to buzy drinking or arguing to notice us. Natsu wasn't here yet so that was good. I went to my desk and looked through one of my draws. I grabbed one of my shirts and shorts i kept here incase i slept over on accident wich happens more often than you think. I handed them to Lucy so she can put them on. She loomed at me curiously.
"Its so that he won't smell you here" i said and then she smiled a bit
"Oh thanks"
"I'll give you some privacy" I said and walked out the room sranding by the door. She opened the door once she was done and I saw her in my clothes. I couldnt smell her strawberry or vanilla scent. Instead I smelled mint and pine trees. I smiled at her
"Well you look nice in my clothes there blondie" I chuckled lightly and she smiled
"Thanks Laxus" She smiled back  blushing
"Stay here and hide under the desk incase Natsu tries to do anything" And with that, she done what I told her. I walked down to the first floor and searched for Natsu. I saw his pink hair and saw him talking to Lisnna. Probably the biggest slut in the guild. But I walked up to him and tapped his shoulder. He turned around and smiled
"Hey Laxus! Whats up?"
"We need to talk. Now" Anf with that, I picked him up by the back off his vest and dragged him outside the guild.
"Hey what the fuck dude?"
"Shut up. You out of the guild!" I said xlam but with a angry expression
"What?! Why?!" He asked. I could tell he was angry so i yelled back at him
"For hurting you guild mate! Or did you forget that your a piece of shit who abuses people!"
"What the fu- that little bitch!" She said mad. Which makes me more pissed off
"Call her a bitch one more time and I'll put you six fit under!"
"Well she is! She is weak! Worthless! And a disgrace to the guil-" I cutted him off before he could say the rest. I bunched his face hard enough making him hit the wall of the guild, breaking the wall sending him flying through it and hitting the wall clear across the guild.
"You're a disgrace to the guilds name! You beat your fellow nakama! Your the one that said you protect them! That being in a guild is family! So being family mean you cut them?! Burn them?! Hit and destroy them?! Thats not what Fairy Tail is about! You are banned from returning to the guild! If I ever see your face around here again, ill make sure you go to hell!" I said furiously.
"Once I see her, she's dead!" After he said that I grabbed him by the throat and held him up in the air
"If you lay one finger on her, you wont even go to hell. You belong in a place far worse than that! And to think, she loved you once" I said before knocking him out and throwing him on the ground
"Mira! Erase his mark then throw him out! Ill tell y'all the story later. All you need to know now, is that he hurt Lucy" After I said that, Mira then went up to him and erased his mark and I went up stairs to see if Lucy was alright. I went inside my office and didn't see her. I went behind my desk and bent down to look under it and saw the most beautiful celestial mage under it covering her ears with her eyes closed. I tapped her shoulder letting her know she can come out. She opened one of her eyes she saw me the opened both removing her hands away from her ears. I smiled at her a bit and helped her out of the hiding spot and hugged her tightly, but not too tihght that it would hurt her from her wounds. She hugged back just as tight
"Thank you" I heard her say with some small sobs
"Shh don't cry. There is no need. I'd do anything for you" I said claming her which I did. I smiled at her as we parted from our hug and she smiled back
'Is it too soon to tell her my feelings? No. I'll wait' I thought to myself. Before i could say anything, i was cut off when i felt her lips on mine. She kissed me and before i realized it, I was kissing back. Her lips are so soft and tasted like strawberries. Strawberries are now my new favorite food. We parted our lips about after a minute or two for air. She was blushing, and so was I
"Laxus I love you..." I heard her say. I just simply smiled like a dummy
"I love you too Lucy" And I kissed her again. I hope that this won't end.
