A new start - 1

Hii! (: SO this is actually my very first fanfiction or whatever you wanna call it, so I'm very sorry if you find this very boring to read. But i promise the next chapter is going to be a lot better and i will try to put as many feelings as I can into it.

Ariana POV  

-[Alarm ringing, 7.00AM]

I woke up, my head felt a little heavy and i could barely open up my eyes. Well, today was going to be a tough day for me & obviously for the rest of my family.  One of the reasons were the ''Back to school'' pressure I hated to feel. I decided to get up and walked slowly to the bathroom. I looked up, saw my tired and not so happy face. What's wrong with me? Why do I always think negative things about myself? 

I put the tap on cold water and washed my face a few times before I wiped it. Since it was starting to get cold outside and it was a rainy day, I thought of wearing cozy, soft and warm clothes, just to make sure I wouldn't freeze and complain about it later. 

I walked downstairs and saw her, my older sister, Anna. She was cooking bacon & eggs for breakfast. Wow, it smelled so delicious. I stood by myslef for a while, looking at her, realizing that she'd be gone within a few hours. My throat hurt a little, my eyes was starting to tear up and i really tried to swallow the lump in my throat. Anna turned around and saw me, giving me a little soft smile. I gave her a tight hug, it felt good. Dad and my youngest sister, Alice just walked into the kitchen and they sat down at the table. 

We ate breakfast and dad asked Anna how she felt and if she was ready to leave the country. ''I will miss all of you,  and you girls should stay safe and make sure to listen to dad'' Anna said. ''Promise you won't forget about us and to keep in touch with us?'', I said with a tired and cracky voice as i looked at her. ''Of course I will, i love you guys, you know that right?'', ''Yes, we do and we love you too'' Alice said with a smiley face and she didn't seemed to care as much as I did, well I can't read her mind or feelings so I can't really tell.

I walked up to my room together with Anna. She was packing her things that she would bring with her to Scotland. I sat down on the cold floor as I watched her in silence, i could tell that there was something weird, she didn't look ''too happy''. I decided to ask her, ''Is something wrong, like is there something you want to tell me?'', I asked. She looked at me with a surprised look on her face. 

''Actually, yes there is something I have to tell you, I'm kind of happy you asked'', ''So you know the guy I've been dating, since 8th grade?'' Anna asked, while sitting down with me. ''Liam?, yeah I do DUH, he's nice, so what about him?'', I said while rolling my eyes and laughing. ''I broke up with him, because i know our relationship won't work, you know because of the huge distance and we were kind of falling apart anyway'', she looked sad saying it, but I'm pretty sure she felt better, after telling me. ''Yeah, I understand, I hope you're feeling better now''.  

The time had come. Anna was ready to leave, she had all of her stuff and she was standing in front of all of us. I could tell she was about to cry, but she tried to hide it by giving me a warm and a last hug for a good while. ''I'll make sure to come by, on the Holidays''. Dad and Anna left, we waved her goodbye. Well, it's time for school again, my 3rd year in high school. I would be a Junior. I made sure to grab everything I needed and decided to drive to school, for the first time. I'm actually not a very good driver, but whatever. Here we go again... a new start I guess.
