I Have You in my Sights .

Chapter 1

I slammed the bounty on the table. 

" Done and done! " I smiled at my brother.

He turned around, eyebrow lifted " You know, I think your group is the only one who doesn't take this seriously. " I scoffed at him. He knows that MY group was the best in the business.    "So, do you have the money for the bounty yet. " He was shuffling through papers, probably more bounties or X bounties. X bounties were higher than normal bounties. Higher pay, and higher danger. 

" Let me find it. " He said, going to look through the shelves behind the round counter.

Jack is, in fact, my older brother. We're  5 years apart, so he is better trained, for more years. And as much as I hate to say it, he is stronger, a lot stronger. So he is 3rd in charge.

Snapping me out of my thoughts, an envelope landed on the counter. I smiled at it. 

" Thank you, kindly ."

" You're so childish. " My brother scoffed at me, looking up from the papers.

" Am not! "

"Are To ." 

" Am Not !" 

" Are too! "

I laughed " Now who's being childish ." He just rolled his eyes at me as he went back to doing whatever it was he was doing before.

The size of the wad of cask in the envolope made the whole dang thing bulge in the middle. Walking through the torn curtain, I held the envelope up. 

" Time to get what we work for! " I shouted as everyone got up off the couches. 

 As cliche as it sounds, Blade HQ was underground. Specifically, under a destructed hotel. The basement wasn't destructed though. Underground alone was 3 stories. I honestly wondered how big the building was before. Also, why the hell haven't they built it back up?

Ashton was the first to jump up. " Gimme Gimme ." Ashton was a couple inches taller than me, leaving me being the shortest. His hair was brown and flopped in front of his right eye, which was emerald green. Suddenly the envelope behind me was taken.

"Oh, c'mon Nathan! " 

"What, it's not my fault I'm taller. " He laughed. " How much was this worth ?" 

" 30 grand " Max cut in, running his fingers through his hair. 

Both Max and Nathan were the same height , But besides height and body structure , they looked really different . Max had darker hair than Ashton , but it wasn't black , while Nathan had pitch black hair .Max and Nathan had the same eye color , but Nathans shin was chocolate brown while Max's was tan as hell . I guess there faux hawks also look similar too though .

Nathan took out the money and began counting on one of the couches in a central room .

We had four central rooms with fancy couches ( mind the tears ), tables with burnt marks, and ripping wall paper . They were actually lounging rooms , probably for a casino ,but hell with it , I call it what I want .

You may be wondering what the " Groups " are . In Blade , we have 5 groups . B , L , A , D and of course , E . Each group had about 5 to 7 members , and as a whole we have 31 members , 28 being in the bounties , then you have 3rd in command , Jack . Second in command , and first in command , or as I call him , Alpha .    

" Great that they have us this in hundreds . It would have taken forever otherwise . "

" Oh hey Grey , when did you get here ?" I said to the person behind me .
