I opened my eyes and smiled softly when I saw Simon in the same position he'd been in last night. Throwing off the bed covers, I slipped out of the bed and tiptoed over to Simon. The poor boy had fallen asleep after posting the video by the looks of it, his hand still on the mouse of his computer.

I chuckled quietly as I grabbed a hoodie off the floor and laid it over Simon's chest, hoping to warm him. Satisfied the hoodie wouldn't fall, I turned towards the bathroom and scrunched up my nose. If I was to do anything before seeing Vik, it was clean this mess.

I groaned as I dragged a binbag filled with drinks across the house, trying to be as silent as I could. It was early in the morning anyway, none of the boys would be awake.

Dumping the bag next to the other three I'd dragged across the house, I clapped my hands together and sighed in relief. Finally, after about an hour of work, I'd emptied Simon's room of all trash and drinks that he'd stashed wherever he could. It was obvious that he had a problem, it wasn't so obvious if he could admit it though.

I wiped my forehead of sweat and ran my fingers through my short hair, grateful that it wasn't sticking to my neck and making me warmer.

"Rose? Since when did you get here?"

I turned around and smiled at a sleepy JJ, his much longer hair messed and knotted.

"Yesterday, Si snuck me in through your room actually," I told him as he rubbed his eyes and gazed at me. He just nodded and pulled himself towards the kitchen, probably to make himself some more coffee and get ready for the day.

I smiled to myself and followed him, hungrier than I thought as my stomach growled at the sight of the kitchen.

Once inside, I got started on making breakfast for the house, grabbing some eggs and toast from the fridge and cupboard.

"You okay with eggs?" I asked JJ who only grunted a response, slurping his coffee. I chuckled and turned the oven on.

JJ and I stood in comfortable silence as I heard someone trudge down the stairs, his footsteps too light to be Josh or Simon.

"Rose!" Vik screamed as he entered the room. I turned from the oven and grinned at him, waving. Vik stared at me for a moment before a glare come over his face.

"What the fuck? You disappear for like 3 days then show up at the house without letting me know?" he yelled, and I flinched, shocked at his tone and harshness. Now, Vik wasn't one to yell unless he was playing a frustrating game, and it still wasn't often.

"I just didn't want to see anyone, Vik," I muttered, turning back to the food and serving some eggs.

"Simon didn't even tell me where you were hiding!"

I sighed and turned to Vik, annoyed now.

"Because I told him not to! I didn't want to be around everyone! I wanted to hide away and be alone, can't you see that?" I yelled. Vik frowned and kept quiet, watching me.

"Now piss off unless you want breakfast," I muttered as I finished off the rest of the eggs and placed them next to the toast.

Vik huffed in annoyance but ultimately sat at the island, next to JJ, and waited for breakfast.

I rolled my eyes and placed two plates down for the pair, slinging on some toast and two eggs each. They thanked me before tucking in, JJ scoffing his down like he hadn't eaten in days.

"So, where were you?"

I looked up from my own plate of food and met Vik's gaze.

"In Simon's room. He hid me there," I muttered, and Vik sighed, rolling his eyes. I knew he'd be pissed at us, but I also knew he'd get over it. He was my best friend after all.

"You head looks better," said JJ, having perked up now having drank some coffee and eaten. I smiled and nodded. I hadn't even remembered the cut on my forehead, the incident seeming like ages ago.

Finishing my food, I swept mine and JJ's plate into the sink and left them for someone else to do, deciding I'd do something with my day.

I didn't say anything as I made my way through the house and towards Simon's room. He was asleep when I last saw him so taking a shower in his thankfully clean bathroom shouldn't be a problem.

I pushed open Simon's door and slipped inside, grateful the older boy was fast asleep. I tiptoed into the bathroom and locked the door before stripping the turning on the water.

I groaned as I stepped out of the shower and into the cold, speedily reaching for the two towels I'd laid out

I groaned as I stepped out of the shower and into the cold, speedily reaching for the two towels I'd laid out. I wrapped one around my body and the other around my hair, messing around until I knew it was secure.

I used my hand to wipe the steamy mirror and sighed at my reflection. I looked different, aside from my hair of course. I looked sadder than I did in Guernsey, my eyes had no light and I couldn't bring my lips to curve into a smile as easily as I once could.

Maybe coming to London was a bad idea? Maybe I should've stayed at home with my family?

I shrugged away the thoughts as I tightened the towel around my chest and stepped out of the bathroom.

"Shit!"

I screamed when I saw Simon, the blond covering his eyes as fast as I could.

"Why are you naked?" Simon cried, his eyes still closed as I stood frozen in his bedroom, a towel the only thing covering me.

"Why are you awake?" I yelled, crying the first thing that had come to mind.

"Because I was asleep in my room!"

I groaned and quickly dashed across the room, gripping tightly onto my towel. Of course, this would happen to me!

As I emerged from the bedroom, I bumped into a sleepy Josh who took one look at me before screaming.

"Shut up!" I hissed, hoping the others wouldn't run to see what was up. Josh quickly covered his eyes as I sped down the stairs, praying I wouldn't slip and expose myself.

"Sorry!" I heard Josh yell, causing me to smile as I threw open my bedroom door and flung myself inside.

I sighed in relief as I let my towel drop to the floor, happy to finally have privacy. I grabbed a fresh pair of clothes and slipped the outfit on before flopping onto my sofa/bed.

I'd been back only a few hours and already everything was going to shit. Jesus Christ.

I pulled out my phone and saw I had a text message from Dan. With a frown, I clicked on the message.
