A whole week after being admitted to the psych ward, I was finally leaving the hospital. I didn't have much luck here, did I?

"Well, is anybody coming to pick you up this time?" Dr Grey asked me as we stood in the waiting room. I nodded. I'd asked a good friend of mine, Dallas, to get me. Hopefully she'd let me move in as well since I don't think living with the boys was doing me any good.

Apparently, think of the Devil and she will appear is a saying too, because Dallas strode through the waiting room doors the second I thought about her.

Dallas was a pale blonde from Norway, having moved to England halfway through Year 7. We instantly became friends and kept touch for years. Now, she was all I had.

"Rose! So good to see you!" Dallas exclaimed as she bounded up towards Dr Grey and I.

I opened my arms and we embraced tightly, both of us relieved to see the other.

"When I got your message, I was so worried! I hope I can help," said Dallas as we pulled apart.

"I hope you can too. I was wondering if I could stay with you for a while?" I asked shyly. Dallas' eyes lit up and she grinned widely, flashing her perfect teeth.

"I've been looking for a roommate!" she squealed before hugging me again. I let out a sigh of relief before we pulled away, and I turned to Dr Grey.

"Please – don't tell the others who I left with," I asked her. Dr Grey simply nodded, and I turned to Dallas.

"Let's go, roomie."

I'm not ready for Rose's story to end but I am if that makes sense? I hope you enjoyed it!
