Heart Of Gold

Chapter 5

(Y/N) POV

It was 2 A.M., I stared at the ceiling. I hated being an immortal. I didn't need to eat, I didn't sleep, and I out lived everyone I ever knew and loved; that is until Edward came into my life I finally had someone in my life I couldn't out live I mean that is if my prediction is true that he is immortal. Damn, I just met the guy 3 days ago and have already  fallen in love with him, you think I would've learned not to fall by now. Still there was something about him; he was so alluring, he had a smile that stopped my heart, eyes that shined brighter then any star in the sky, a voice sweeter then any dessert, and most importantly a heart of gold. 

"AHHHHHHHHH (Y/N)" I jolted up hearing Kim's voice. 'Crap she must have come home early and just because I'm invincible doesn't mean I'm the first one you should call '  sighing I ran upstairs. I enter the hall to see Edward with a startled look and Kim with a frightened look. Peg guided Kim to Kevin's room explaining to her why there was a guy with scissors for hands sleeping in her bed. I personally didn't feel like hearing Kim sulk, so I went with Bill and Edward back downstairs.

I sat next to Edward on the red bar stool seats well Bill went behind the counter filling up 3 cups of bourbon before sliding two over to me, I caught them with ease before putting the one with a straw in front of Edward.

"what's this?" he questioned

I smirked at Bill as we said "lemonade", he took a sip and I had to swallow down my drink quickly so I didn't start laughing, looking over at Edward face he looked quite disgusted, looking down at his drink to see he finished it in one sip 'bad idea' I looked over at the stairs to see Peg with Kim cowering behind her 'horrible timing'

"Edward, this is Kim our daughter-" 

'3,2,1' I put my arms out and caught him

"Sorry guys but it looks like someone feels a little tipsy,  hey Peg could you get me a wet wash clothe and Bill can you help me carry Edward to my bed, I don't need to sleep anyways so that's probably the best idea." Once Peg and Kim went upstairs we both chuckled "Alright, because this is your fault you get to hold his arms" I say before leaning him against the counter.

"fine" he said still chuckling he grabbed his arms as I grabbed his feet 

"ready set GO" We whispered he carried his arms with no trouble me on the other hand I was a mess. His feet kept falling out of my hands and I could barely keep him up in the air picking up a robot human was apparently a lot harder then a regular human body as we slid him on to the bed I let out a breath I was unconscionably been holding. I took the wet washcloth from Peg before putting it on Edwards forehead. After everyone headed upstairs I went to my closet pulling out a book about engineering and got to work I knew that if I put in the effort I could help Edward.
