The realization

Sams POV
After the incident I can't think straight. We were sitting in Adams room in silence. Adam was the first to speak.

"Are you ok sam" he said cautiously I didn't say anything I just stared out into space in shock. He didn't say anything after that he just pulled me into a hug and that is when I started crying. He pulled me into a tighter hug after I started crying.

"Shhhhh it's ok sam just breathe"

I don't say anything I just take a deep breath and push him away and say "thank you Adam you know for helping me"

"You looked liked you could handle it but I thought I would step in"

"Hahaha you looked calmer than me"

"Ha Yeah right I was scared that he was going to eat you"

After he said that we started laughing. We laughed for about 30 minutes straight.

"That wasn't supposed to be funny but your laugh is contagious sam" he said when he was done laughing. I started blushing.

We just sat there for a few more moments. Then we headed for my house.

"Hey Sam why don't you have your own car"

"I do but I have you to take me to school and I don't really go anywhere else unless you take me"

"Ohhhh I see now" he says with a smile on his face then he parks his car in front of my house and starts to tickle me.

"Hey..... what...... is this for" I say laughing.

"It is for saying that" he said smiling.

"Well you asked" I said after he stopped tickling me. He pulled me into another hug then he let me go inside. "Bye Adam"

The next morning I woke up from a hard sleep because I had nightmares from the incident yesterday. When I walked down stairs though I put on a brave face and ate breakfast.

"Sooooo Sam do you like Adam" my brother Nathan said in a squeaky tone.

"No I do not" that was a lie I do like more then any one else.

"Ok"

"Hey mom I am going to go with Adam today if he has anything going on since it is Sunday"

"Ok but don't be back to late unless you are staying the night at Adam's then just text me and tell me"

"Ok"

After breakfast I run upstairs and I text Adam asking if is going anywhere today. He said he didn't but if I wanted to I could come hang out with him at his house. I said ok I will be over in a bit. I get in my car and head to Adams house. Once I get there I knock on the door and ask if I could go to see Adam. They allow me in I run up to his room and see him sleeping.

"How could you be asleep I just texted you not even two minutes ago"

"I was tired so I fell back asleep"

"Ok well I am just going to lay down on the floor"

"You can lay on my bed I can lay on the floor"

"I can't have you do that"

"Then come lay on the bed with me so you don't have to lay on the floor" as he said that I started blushing.

Adams POV
Right as I said that I started blushing."I am sorry for saying that Sam I just don't want you to lay on that uncomfortable floor"

"Your fine Adam"

"But do you want to if not it is fine I can sleep on the couch or in the......." right before I could finish Sam and starts walking over to me and sits on the bed and holds my hands and smiles.
