You just had a fight with your boyfriend; now ex. He cheated on you with your best friend. Now you lay there, crying because you've just lost two people you "love."
You lay there crying and slowly drift off to sleep when you get a text from Jai.
Jai- Hey Y/N, what's up? I heard about your breakup.. He was a jerk. You don't deserve that.
You: aw, thanks Jai. I'm just upset at the moment. And you're right. I don't deserve this.
Jai: I would treat you right if I was your guy.. I know it's a little soon to say but Y/N, I love you. I have ever since I looked at you. Ever since I looked into your beautiful eyes I was in love. YOU are perfect in every single way possible.
You lay there in shock.. You've known you've liked Jai, but you kept it secretive since you were in a relationship. But now that you're not in a relationship.. You can tell Jai the truth, too. That you love him too.
You: Jai.. I love you, too. I've always felt a little something between us, but didn't say anything because I was with Gavin..
Then you hear Jai knocking on your door, freshly picked flowers and chocolates in hand.
"Jai.. You shouldn't have.." you say.
"How could I not get something for the most perfect girl of the world?"
Then you two stay together all night, talking about old memories from when you were kids and end up falling asleep, hand in hand.
