Hoseok was looking around the comfort room while waiting for the girl to put the ring on his palm but he felt that she's taking too long so he turned to her to find her wide eyes staring at him her hand on her ring finger. Something's wrong.

Wendy tried again but no avail. She started to panic. She ran towards the faucet and put her hand under the water, wanting to take the ring off but she can't.

Oh no, Oh no

Even with the soap, she still can't take it off, her hand is almost red from trying to take the ring off.

Hoseok went to her side and saw that she was gripping the ring. He was right then, the ring won't take off.

He turned off the faucet and held her hand to stop her. Wendy felt something sparked in her hand when he touched her suddenly but it was just for a moment.

"Don't push yourself. The more you put too much force, the more it won't come off. Let's think of another way."

"But..." Wendy felt guilty. It was her fault for putting the ring on. It must be for his girlfriend but she just took his chance away.

The guy grinned. "It's fine with me really, I'm just relieved that I found the ring, and it was also my fault for bumping into you." And if it were another person who saw the ring, he might've not seen it anymore, it was a real diamond ring after all. "So we're quits."

Wendy felt teary. He's a nice guy. "Really?"

Hoseok nodded and stared at the girl. She was panicking earlier and he was preoccupied finding the ring that he only noticed that the blonde girl is actually cute up close with her pale skin and red lips. He noticed that she has three piercings on one of her ears.  She also has bangs so he can't see her forehead and eyebrows but it just makes her look cuter.

"What do we do now?"

Hoseok snapped back into reality and focused his attention to her lowering his head so they are looking straight at each other.

"By any chance... Do you know me?" Everybody knows him after all.

Wendy stared back at him. Know him?

"Do I... have to know you?" she asked not wanting to sound rude. "Ah! Are you a celebrity?" since he's handsome.

Hoseok chuckled. It's the first time that someone said that she doesn't know him. He's starting to wonder if she's just acting or just plainly been living under the rock.

"No, I'm not a celebrity."

Wendy nodded. "Oh, before I forgot, my name is Wendy, Wendy Shon." She offered her hand.

Hoseok took her hand, it was soft and cold and he felt that her fingertips were a bit calloused.

"I'm Jung Hoseok."

Jung Hoseok... It's a bit familiar but Wendy doesn't know where she heard it.

"Can I also get your number? In case I'm able to take the ring off. I'll give my number too so you'd know I'm not running away with it."

"Of course" Hoseok internally grinned, she just asked him his number like a normal person that he is. It's been a long time. It felt new and good to him.

When they exchanged numbers, Wendy said goodbye.

"My friends will worry, I have to go."

Hoseok nod his head. "Okay."

He only noticed that he's still in the ladies room and hurriedly went outside to go where his friends are.

"Did you find your ring?" Jin asked.

Hoseok sat beside him. "Yeah." He also found a girl.

"That's a relief," Jin said tapping his shoulder. "You've got someone to show your mother? You know that you have to choose wisely right? Your mother will think of the girl immediately as your wife."

Hoseok nod his head. He knows that but the ring is still with her and he still has no one to show his mother. It's not like he can't get any girl, there are many in fact but they're all just into his fortune and fame, one reason why he doesn't have a girlfriend.

"How about Yeri? She's at the states and aunt don't know what she looks like and she's quite mature for her age, she'll surely understand." Jin said pertaining to his sister.

Jungkook who was silent all this time turned to Jin. "That's my girlfriend you're talking about hyung."

Jin laughed and slightly punch Jungkook on the shoulder. "It just pretend, pretend. Don't take it seriously."

"No. Even if it's just pretending, I won't let you use Yeri." Jungkook said with a determined expression.

"Stop it. I won't ask Yeri so stop fighting you two." Hoseok said. And it's not like he can pretend when he just sees Yeri as a sister, it gives him the chills.

"Don't you have a friend you can ask?" Namjoon asked.

Jin went to the dance floor and Jimin didn't come back yet.

"No one." No girl wants to befriend him because they all want to be his girlfriend.

"How about Taehyung's girlfriend."

"Leave my girlfriend out of this, please. If aunt saw her, she'd surely want to make my girlfriend her daughter-in-law."

The guys scoffed, Taehyung adores his girlfriend too much.

"What did aunt told you anyway?" Namjoon asked.

Hoseok turned to him. "If I don't show my fiancee on the family gathering two weeks from now, I won't be able to keep my hobby and I'll have to stick on my position as the president of the company."

"Just imagining it sounds boring," Jungkook said.

The guys agreed. They can already feel the boredom.

"What if you can't find a girl?"

It'll be the end for me then.
