Lyra Bella and The Ruby Stone

Escape and Retrieve

The four boys brought her into another part of the Temple that wasn’t destroyed. They strapped Lyra down to a stone table and took a step back for their boss to step in.

Still struggling to break free, Lyra glared as the fire hair colored with orange ears and tail walked up to her and said

“I’m sorry it had to end like this, Lyra. I mean, you watching me become the most powerful shadow thief in the world would be thrilling and all… But I’m afraid that when you’re born in the jungle, you’ll DIE in the jungle... Pull the lever!”

 With dizziness, Lyra used the energy she had left to see one of Serena’s four henchmen pull a stone lever on the wall.

And just like that, sand started coming out of the statues in each corner of the wall, rising up an inch every second.

“Well, that’s our cue to leave! Come on boys… And enjoy your last breath, Lyra Bella…”

As Serena and her four henchmen left the torture room of the Temple, Lyra did everything she could to escape the shackles holding her down. That’s when she noticed that the bottle sun block her twin sister, Lucy Belle, gave her was spilling out of the bag attached to her belt.

She groaned, but then she got a brilliant idea. She used her knee to move the bottle up to her hands. As the sun block dripped onto the left shackle, her hand slipped free!

“Yes!”

She shouted. But before she could free her other hand, she noticed the sand was already on the sacrifice table and giant spikes in the walls and started closing in on her!

She had no choice and nothing else to do, so she grabbed her bow with a million uses, and threw it like a boomerang to one of the statues.

It bounced off the walls and was about to hit the stone lever. But as the sand was about to rise up above her head and the spikes coming in closer, she held her breath and wished for the best.

That’s when her bow hit the stone lever off. The sand started draining into the ground, and the walls retracted back to their place.

Then as Lyra gasped for air and saw the light of day again, she grabbed the bottle of sun block and freed her other hand and her ankles.

She grabbed her bow from off the ground, and saw a big opening at the top of the torture room. She got her grappling hook, and brought herself up to the top.

Meanwhile Serena was sitting on a royal throne, admiring the Ruby Stone and its beauty, while petting a kitten she found.

She looked to her henchmen, and said

“Well boys, soon we will show those stupid Masters who are the more powerful Faunus! And when we do, we’ll rule the entire academy… And maybe the world!”

They all gave an evil laugh with icy smiles. Serena held the Stone with her tail and petted the cute kitten. After the evil laughs went on, and on, and on…

Lyra somersaulted as gracefully as the wind and took the Stone out of Serena’s tail, and landed on the edge above where Serena and her henchmen are.

Lyra cleared her throat as loudly as she could to get their attention. Serena’s henchmen looked up to see Lyra’s silhouette standing on the cliff holding the deep red Ruby Stone in the sunlight.

“Uh… Boss…”

 One of her henchmen shyly interrupted

Serena looked up will a yell

“What?!”

He pointed towards Lyra’s silhouette holding the Ruby Stone.

Serena’s jaw dropped with anger as she yelled

“B-but… How?”

 Lyra gave an icy smile towards Serena and said

“Better luck next time, Sunset Rose!”

She winked at Serena’s henchmen as they blushed as red as their boss’ fiery hair.

Serena tried to keep her cool, but that was the last straw. She decided to give her most angry yell as she and her henchmen watched her run off back to where she started.

“LYRA!!!!!!”

And thus, the world was saved, all thanks to Lyra Bella.
