"Let's meet my parents!"

Solandres grabbed his arm and started a chaos that stirred his mind. The night passed with the two being separated by crowds after the big announcement of the suspicious girl's parents repeated by his parents and the hovering crowd. As Bridget got swallowed by the night in her black coat as she walked across to her house, Solandres laughed, thirsty to dissolve the brewing affair between the daughter of her current boss and her instant fiance. She took Linus for a walk in the grape fields and told stories to break the ice. Linus was floating all the while, and as he glared around like was alone he said one word to himself then left her in the dark.

"Promotion..."

He muttered to himself as he grinned and walked away excitedly to his Cadillac and drove away. She called him back but it's as if he's in another dimension. She stared madly at Bridget's house and squeezed back in the party.

"You know, I see a great chemistry on you two..."

Out of nowhere Mr. Darcy appeared and started a chat. He brought out several topics including confidential ones. She faked being uninterested with the financial portion as she grew more eager to have the nuptial sooner. She requested and it was immediately granted by both sides. She even made viral photos of them in the Sommerfeld Park of Westminster, the most remarkable place for Bridget.

"This one's for you darling..."

She tapped with force and done, and earned a truckload of attention within a minute. After seeing the images, Bridget tried to communicate with her. But because of gaining much information, Solandres slipped with ease, leaving her breathless.

"He bought us a fabulous house near Sommerfeld Park, I hope you're alright with that..."

"Why would you worry?"

She replied with a shaky voice and nearly teared up. Her father went in, cut her call, and tried to make her smile, recalling her sweet success in the two years she stood as owner, then promised a flight to Scotland the soonest possible as an apology. Linus called afterwards and choked out a friendly banter to grab her attention. She laughed along yet spoke formally. He called her Elisse which irritated her since that's her scary grandmother's name, so she called him Roberto because that's his father's, whom he loathes for controlling his life. They were getting back in pace until it hit her that it would go nowhere. Faintly she bid goodbye but then he said the words. Her face lit up, exhilarated as he continued.

"You're about to be sent to France."

She faced him with eyes wide open and got her hopes up. She screamed to her pillow wrapped to her face. Her dreams were about to be real, all by the hidden effort of him, the guy who didn't cared. She suddenly forgot about her heartache and packed her stuff lousily and examined the entire process that she also forgot about their family vacation. She was smiling from ear to ear. Her father was indeed proud but then again bothered. All her life she had been in the borders of Long Island, and now, alone to Europe. She's passive to go and make the bigger move but her ego wins her over.

"It's there, it's already there! Just one flick of a hand and I'm where I'm meant to. But him..."

She felt ruined by the dilemma that brought her down the basement to get sunk in her endless routine, checking her glorious wine collection that she had when she was young, and of course hers when she finally gets the throne. She held every bottle and found one that she knew didn't belong there. It had a remarkable writing she once read in Linus' diary when he passed out in her dining room.

Your turn darling,
Respond to my little rhyme,
And show me the star inside,
Your palace that bears fruit eternally...
