"Alice! Alice! Wake up, please!" I opened my eyes and found my mother grabbing my shoulders, shaking me slightly. "He's in danger! I have to rescue him! He needs my help!" I threw my mother off me, got out of bed and ran through the door and out on to the deck. I looked around, beginning to come to my senses. I let out a sigh as I stood and took in the sea air. "Lord Ascot was right, what has life at sea done to this woman?!" I heard a crew member whisper to another. I bowed my head and turned round to go and face my mother.
"I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me. I think I just need some rest." I lied to my mother. I knew exactly what was wrong with me. I missed home, my real home." My mother pulled me into a hug. She instructed me to go back to bed, she was used to these 'nightmares' of mine as she calls them. They're not nightmares at all. They're my family telling me it's time for another visit..
