Walking down the hall with you in his arm you both remained silent with such painful expressions. Making it to the door he sets you down and you look up at him as he slides on his shades taking a deep breath staring at the blue door. Never in his life has he never wanted to open a door until now. The blue metal door that he will open and forever loose what he has kept for 3 months. Even celebrated your birthday. You were now a 7 year old baby girl. At least he was able to be the one to do it and be present. But now, now he will no longer see that little girl grow up.

Seeing him frozen in place you feel his uncomfortable feeling. Reaching up you hold his hand to support him. This is as tough for you as it is for him. “I don't want to go, daddy.” You say looking down at the floor and he leans down to stroke your cheek with his thumb. “Don't cry now. You are a strong girl and will hold out. Someday I'll come for you. But, perhaps by then.” Grinding his teeth you see them as he looks away from the thought. “You would have forgotten all about me. Be with your real father.”

Shaking your head you hug him. “I don't want to forget daddy! Please don't forget me daddy!” You cry out as he hugs you tightly trying not let out his own tears. "Never." He hands you his shades and you hold them in your hand looking into his ocean blue eyes.

"Daddy is going to be alone now." You say sadly and he closes his eyes letting out a tired sigh.
"Even now you worry about me being lonely?" A small smile forms as he stands up straightening his posture and taking out another pair of shades from his coat.

The door slides open as you step out holding Wesker's hand while you sniffed looking up at your parents. Wesker looks at the woman first whose expression turns to shock and he then looks at the man who you will be calling father.

They called out your name kneeling down calling you to come to them.

But you didn't bother moving feeling how tight Wesker held your hand he wasn't willing to give you up. In fact he wanted to kill your parents.

“Wesker.” Chris walks up looking at him as if trying to tell him to let go of you.

“I don't want to go!” You scream out crying but your father comes in and he starts to make a scene asking Chris if this was some type of joke if they have had you brainwashed.

All the noises of the man arguing with Chris and you crying with your mother trying to call you all turned to static in his ears. The memories of him meeting you and wanting to discover a way to make humans evolve into something greater. A virus that could make him stronger all to be able to protect you and keep you smiling. Everything to keep you by his side safe. Changing himself to be better man a better role model for you. Now what was the point of doing anything? His one motivation is leaving him.

Wesker's grip loosens on your hand and you look up at him with your puffy red eyes. He doesn't even look at you and you suddenly feel how cold he has become. It felt like you were not wanted. But you knew it was him letting you go.

Looking at your mother you look down sniffing as you started walking Wesker stretched out his hand till your hand slid out from his. He watched you being carried away from your real mother and father.

When the helicopter left and everyone else left Wesker stood alone till he fell on his knees. Sliding off his glasses he gazed up into the sun feeling how dead and gone he has become. You were the sun that warmed his wintering heart. But now, he hates love, compassion, carrying everything he felt around you. Everything he did no longer mattered. It was gone. Completely gone.

Now all he will do to satisfy his emptiness is becoming his old self.
