Two ears perked up over the tall, snowy, grass. The animal saw a small hut nearby and sprinted towards it. the creature burst open the door. The howling winter wind blew snow into the warm, cozy, cottage.
" Peck! You're -"
" Late? I know Liza. "
The creature pulled off her hood to reveal that she was, indeed, the Rabbit Alpha. " Actually, your right on time. Do you have your gift? " Peck pulled out a green frog plush with a red ribbon around its neck. " Yeah, I do. " " Excellent. Place it over there. " The Panda Alpha pointed her Scepter at a rug on the floor that has various gifts in it from ALL Alphas. From the Sea Alphas, to the Land Alphas, and the ones inbetween. Pecks frog plush completed it. " Where's Greely at? " " With his new Daughter, of course. " Peck turned around.
" I missed Pilgrim push the baby out?! Why didn't you say something, I need to say my Hello! " Peck quickly hopped to an Oak door and opened it, Quietly. The new Alpha parent was sitting on the floor, looking into a cot that held the Wolf Pup. Pilgrim was asleep on her bed. The only sound was the cackling fire accompanied by Pecks hops. She hopped towards her friend and sat down beside him. " Hi Greely, sorry I'm late. " " I do not mind that you are late. But, I do mind if you keep your voice up at that level. " The wolf Alpha glanced at the Rabbit. " Sorry. " She said and looked in the cot. The Pup was grey with a white under side and a Purple sploch was around one of her eyes while more of the splotches dotted her body.
"Aww, she's so cute. What's her name?" " Opal. " Greely answered, keeping his eyes trained in his Pup. " I like Opals, they're my Favorite gem. " A silence washed over the two. " What did you make her? " " A plushie, you know, that she can sleep with when she has Nightmares. What did you make her? " Greely glanced at his fellow Alpha before answering. " I made her an Amulet to keep her protected from the Phantoms. Along with Armour so she can fight in the Phantom Wars by My side. " Peck groaned and stomped her foot repeatedly. " I hate Phantoms. They killed Mira and Zeus, trashed Zeus's statue, and Plagued the entirety of Jamma! That's why it's snowing in the middle of spring! They messed up the weather! " " Peck, keep your voice down! " Greely growled at the Rabbit. Pecks ears dropped. Greely stood up. " I think it's best if you go back to your Burrow. Now. "
Peck hopped out of the room quickly, without a single word.
