If there is such thing as a perfect world, no one would be human. If there is something that is alive or has a conscious mind it is able to be corrupted. You see humans will always be tempted by something no matter how small or large. It could be drugs, alcohol, sex, or even video games.
Some people think they are able to change the world, other times they realize how ignorant that sounds. Changing something that is this broken will take hundreds of years, and by then no one will care enough to try. There will always be people who would rather harm themselves, or bully others. Truth is if the world was perfect, or had the potential to be perfect, it would be empty. Humans are the problem with this world, we pollute the atmosphere, kill the plants, and we diminish and poison the water. Nothing is good about us, in our point of view we are superior sure but not in mother natures.
We are the demons we try to run from, and when we get to the end of our race, there is no heaven or hell only cold insect infested dirt. Everything dies with a higher hope, save for the ones who die with the knowledge that there is nothing after this, and others... they hold on until it's too late to change anything. Religion isn't harmful unless you use it wrong, those who use it as an excuse are the root of all stupid people. They spread their beliefs like chicken pox, They have the potential to kill you.
However if I had the chance to change anything... I would make sure that no one was homeless or poor that everything had a chance to live in luxury but I wouldn't make it last. Nothing can be perfect forever.
