Lance POV
I checked my watch. "Oh man, sorry Keith! I gotta go- I forgot that I signed up for an extra class on the weekends. I'll catch up with you on Monday, but first, could we exchange phone numbers?" He lookef at me, shocked, blushed, and nodded, scrambling for his phone.
"Uhm, sure! Sure. I-uh," He muttered. He handed me his phone and I gabe him mine. He quickly typed in his number and contact info, them gave the phone back to me. I named my contact as 'Lance 💙', and handed his phone back to him. He blushed once again and coughed, putting the phone back in his pocked.
"I-uh, here's your smoothie. Thanks for paying." He turned his head and had his hands reached in front of him, holding my smoothie.
"Oh, no problem!" Ah, he's so cute. To... Some people. That is. I nervously walked forward after taking my smoothie from his hands. I wrapped my arms around him to give him a friendly goodbye hug. The black-haired boy gasped. I let go and smiled sheepishly. His eyes were wide.
"I-uh, have a good day!" I stuttered, waved, and walked away quickly. Damn, I knew that was a bad idea. Why are you so stupid, Lance!
"H-Have a good day, too, Lance," Keith answered shyly. I looked back at him, blushed, and nodded.
I walked away with a confusing fluttering in my stomach.

The next day
I shut off my 8:00 AM alarm for class and got up.
I washed the facemask off of my face and put on some face lotion. After changing into something comfortable, I walked out the door with my bag.
I heard a buzzing sound from my phone and reached into my pocket to fish it out. I gasped. A text from Keith!
8:06 AM
Keith K: hi Lance are you heading to class
You: As a matter of fact, yes I am! Why, you miss me? ;)
Keith K is typing...
Keith K: dream on, I was jjst asking because your friends are waiting for you.
Keith K: *just
You: Wait Keith you have Pidge and Hunk's numbers?
Keith K: yea I bumped into them after you left and we exchanged numbers.
Keith K: ok I gtg i'm about to order
Lance: k bye samurai <3
Keith: bye lance :)
I blushed slightly and smiled that he used a smiley face, then happily jogged to the university.
