They hop out of the Puddle, and Andrea decides to let go of Patty's hand. They slowly open their eyes, "Glad you could make it, girls!" Ashley shoves the green duffle bag they brought into Andrea and Patty. She now wears a pair of gray sweatpants, bending her right leg inside and tying a knot, so it would appear as if her leg was gone from the knee-down, to put away her horrific, taloned bird leg. She also dons a pair of sunglasses to cover her incredibly sunken eyes. And she puts on a purple turtle neck to cover up her scar. Andrea stretches a black beanie over her head, wraps a thick, beige scarf around her neck and most of her face, as well as a pair of sunglasses, to hide her fishiness. All Patty has to do is clip her claws, wear a blue hoodie, to hide the fur on her left arm, and tie the right sleeve into a knot. But she can't exactly tie the knot herself; Andrea offers to help. "Wait," she finishes the knot with a firm tug, "Ashley, how are you gonna get around on only one leg? Do you plan on hobbling around the city?" Ashley peers around the corner, reaching for something. She then turns about, crutch in hand, with a smug look on her face. Andrea looks her up and down, with faint annoyance in her eyes, "I see." Patty always finds amusement in her friends' bickering; she can't help but giggle. They throw the bag into a corner and make their way out of the alley, and into the bustling city. It seems to be bursting with the sounds of cars rushing by, and the Humans' constant chatter. Ah, the Humans, they live such mundane lifestyles. The world they live in is so bright, and full of life! All three of the friends are completely enthralled with the Earth-realm, staring up at the brick and stone buildings towering above them, taking in the concrete, and the green grass, and the average looking residents of Earth. Andrea is the first to break free from her trance, "Where should we go first?" She's smiling from gill to gill, although the other girls can't see that, they can hear the excitement in her voice. Andrea points straight ahead to a gray building, "What about there? That looks fun!" All of these buildings look fun to the girls; no matter how dreary they may seem to the everyday Human. As Ashley and Patty turn to see where Andrea's pointing, a bell sounds, and large groups of Human offspring come pouring out. She knows it to be an educational facility, but what's it really called? It's right on the tip of Andrea's tongue, "Hey! Those kids are wearing your old outfit!" Patty's pointing at the children now. She's right... they're wearing Andrea's old uniform; a navy blue collared shirt, paired with khaki bottoms, or khaki skirts for the girls. Why is that? She's frozen; her blood has run cold. Meanwhile, Ashley is extremely interested in a flock of birds perched on a wire. Patty looks back at Andrea, with the same goofy smile she always has on. A bead of sweat drops into her scarf. Why can't she remember? She suddenly stands up straight, squaring her shoulders, and adjusting her beanie in a sudden burst of determination, "We have to go in there." Ashley swings herself around, "How come?" she asks, as if she hadn't just been completely oblivious to her friend's brief freak out session. Andrea marches out of the alleyway and onto the sidewalk, "Because I have to."
