Love at first doesn't always happen in every story. Atleast not for Charlie.
He had always struggled with what he assumed was crushes, even relationships. So his side of the story, was always the same: assumed crush, date, sex and then, nothing else. And it wasn't them breaking up with him, it was him breaking up with them— but it wasn't because he wanted to, it was because he never did fall in love, but predicted he did. By prediction he meant that he thought he loved the person, but it ended up to be his heart only turning towards lust— never love. To him love at first sight was a lie, told by old people so they'd get their hopes up.He thought he would never actually fall in love, thinking that it was some kind of special thing that only 'the normal people' had.
Today, was the day he graduated, leaving college to finally be on his own, living life to its fullest as an adult. But honestly, it meant nothing to him, since he knew that he'd only end up at the bar once again or at a shitty graduation party that he was forced to go to. A sigh had escaped his lips at least four times, as he sat there among the millions of students who were waiting to get their diploma and leave.
After that, he had been forced to go to a graduation party like he had predicted before, of course.
But this time, he meets someone new.
Someone that showed him a new road in life.
