Lunch - Part 7

Celine, and Vanessa heads to get some sushi, and Nicolas is going to lunch with his college friends, and they decided to go for hot wings, and a few beers. Vanessa asks Celine after lunch did she want to go out tonight, and Celine looks at her like really?

Vanessa, Celine come on you need to get out, and live a little. Celine's reply was, I'm not feeling up to it tonight, but hey maybe tomorrow? Celine looks at the sushi place, and see that it's really crowded, and asked Vanessa, you sure you want to wait in line for this? Just look at the line backed up.

Vanessa looking for a parking space, and can't really find one, so Celine thinking of just getting some food, and head back to her place.

Vanessa you can't find a parking space. Let's just go get some hot wings or a sub sandwich, and head back to my place. Okay Celine, I know your not ready today, but I can't say I tried. Vanessa I really thank you for coming by, and getting me out for a few hours, but I'm kind of really tired from walking, and shopping. Vanessa looks over at Celine, you sure? Yes Vanessa I'm sure. Alright wings sounds good. So they turned up the ,music, and Celine picks up her phone to place a order so they can pick up, and just head back to her place. Celine asks Vanessa what she wanted sandwich or wings, and Vanessa says wings, make sure they hot wings, and fries on the side with ranch. Celine puts in the order of 2 ten piece order of hot wings with fries on the side with ranch, and the app gives her the total of $25.82, and of course Celine pays for the wings. They finds a parking space, and walks inside, now Nicolas, and his friends were inside eating, and drinking beers, and Celine, and Vanessa walks in headed to pick up their food, and it's really noisy with the crowd there, and actually they should've just waited in line at the sushi place, Celine thought to herself. She sees a chair to sit down, and she gives the money to Vanessa, and Vanessa talking with the server, and says; I'm here for order number377, and the cashier says order 377 where is it? Cashier says $25.82, and Vanessa gives her $30.00, and their food was ready to go, and Celine asks Vanessa to check it before they leave, and she did, and Celine asks for her change, and Vanessa says no here's your $30.00 back I decided to pay for lunch. Celine looks at Vanessa, and said; you didn't have too, and Vanessa said; yes at least I can do that Celine, by the way you already spending money at Saks for us, and it's on me with lunch, and the next time we go out, like tomorrow? Celine looks at Vanessa side eyeing, give me this bag girl. You're just trying to get me out, and hook me up with some broke ass man, and I'm not interested at all. I'm thinking about going to Paris anyhow.

Paris? Vanessa reply? Celine saying, yes Paris. Oh I see you trying to find one of those musicians there? They don't have to be a musician. Vanessa yeah right, they better have some music skills, and really in love with music. Now as they were walking out of the place with their food. Celine looks over at the people, and see's Reggie, and Nicolas, and some more guys drinking beer, and laughing away, and Nicolas was about to catch her eyes until another female walks up to the table, and Celine laughs at the guys flirting with the unknown female, and thought about tomorrow should she go out or just get on that flight to head to Paris. Celine you okay? Vanessa looks at her, and wonder where's her mind at.

Celine getting in the car, and reaches in her purse fresh her lipstick, yeah I'm alright just hungry, and tired that's all. Vanessa looks at Celine, and knowing she has something on her mind. Celine turns up the music, and says it's just I was looking over at a table of guys flirting with some chick, and thought about going out tomorrow. So Celine your answer is yes? Celine says, no not ready. Vanessa said; I seen a guy that hangs out at the club I want to go to, and he was at that table. Oh yeah? Celine replied, which one?

The one with the locks, and the other guy looks fine to, but he's looks like he's too much. Remember I told you about the guy in the Porsche in traffic on my way to pick you up? Celine said; okay the one that rolled the window up on you? Their laughing while eating their fries on the way to Celine's Vanessa said; yes him, now I remember seeing him up in the club before, and he always having a female every night, and when I seen him in the with the guy with the locks, I thought maybe he might be your type? Celine I'm not trying to be any mans side piece. So now my answer to your question on tomorrow is no definitely.

Vanessa I have to do some packing, I'm going on a vacation, and I will club in Paris, and sight see, and who knows might meet somebody there, because he's not here in this city. Vanessa laughs at Celine, and says girl lets get these wings in, and a glass of wine, then I'm going to go by, and get a pedicure, and manicure before I head out tonight, and I need some sleep.

They pulls up at Celine's place, and grabs the shopping bags, and heads to her door, and as they walk in Celine pulls off her shoes, and hangs up her coat, scarf, and removes her hat, and Vanessa pulls off her shoes also, and they washes their hands , and Celine grabs a bottle of red wine, some goblets, and Celine tells Vanessa only a glass for you, and here's some sparkling water too.

Vanessa I can handle this. Celine say; yeah like that spliff we smoked? By the way I can finish that spliff off my self before I go to bed tonight. Vanessa says to Celine, like yeah, and get your ass ready for tomorrow? No, Celine replies. I'm going on a vacation, and not to the club around the block. So the ladies drink their wine, and finished their lunch washing their hands again, and checking out the clothes that they bought at Saks, and Vanessa heads to Celine's closet while Celine hangs up her outfits, and Vanessa looking at the clothes that Celine has in her closet, and most of them still have tags on them, and Vanessa asks Celine; why you're not wearing these clothes Celine? Vanessa I will wear those outfits in Paris. Celine it's going to be cold in Paris for this dress unless your going to wear some real warm leggings with this, and it..as Vanessa paused in the mirror with the dress, and says; no not legging with this dress, girl your legs must show in this dress. Damn this is Dior? Celine looks at Vanessa, and takes the dress out of her hands, and hangs it back up, and tells her it's getting late, I thought your going to the nails shop today? Oh shit what time is it? Celine, I must go, and remember tomorrow. Yeah, yeah tomorrow for you, and tomorrow for me to start packing. How long your going to stay there? I don't know, I probably stay 2 weeks. Celine 2 weeks? What's wrong with 2 weeks? Well I hope in your 2 week vacation that you find some man who's worth the time. Celine looks at Vanessa, and said ; come on Miss I wanna set you up with Mr. Porsche side many chicks. They laughed, and Vanessa looks at the spliff in the ash tray, and Celine looks at her, and said; don't even try it Vanessa get your behind to the nail shop.

I'm smoking that before bedtime. Now as they were walking to the door, and Vanessa puts on her coat, and slips back into her shoes, and heads out the door, and Celine says to her again thanks for coming by, and getting me out for a while. Vanessa no problem Celine, just call me before you head to sleep, and no I'll call you to see if you change your mind Ms. Boujee.....(paused) what? Vanessa says to Celine, nah I'm just joking Celine. Yeah I got your boujee right in this joint you will not be smoking. As both ladies laughs about the joint, and Vanessa heads out the door call me still okay? Celine says I will. Drive safe Vanessa. Celine I got this alright, as she turns up her music in the car, and waves at Celine.

Now Celine thought about how the guys were laughing, and a laugh that did sound familiar, but she didn't bring it up to Vanessa. So she grabs the bottle of red wine heads to her room after she locks up, and turn on some music, and stands in front of her mirror with a dress she really likes, and thought to herself...maybe in Paris? I'm not wearing this here. She says out loud, and she starts to sing out loud a song she written herself called You tried it and you loved it. She starts to dance to the song, and thought about Paris. Celine hangs up the dress, and draws some water in the bath tub so she can soak, and kill off that joint, and the bottle. Taking off her clothes, and getting into that hot bath, and thinks about her dreams, and wishing she had the right man in her life that would be right there for her, but she thought to herself am I too boujee like they say at work? Damn maybe so? I just won't settle for less. Time passes, and Celine sits in the tub again until the water gets cold, and she decides to get out, and dries off, and reaches for her lotion, and heads in front of her vanity, and sits down to dry off, and lotion, then she thought about Vanessa, and reaches for her cellphone to call her, and no answer. Celine tries to call again nothing but a voicemail, and she leaves a message for her to call her before she hits the club.
