I run out of my house in excitement and jump into my best friends car. She was on her phone in my driveway and looked up when she saw me coming.
I climb into her car and she looks up at me. "Hey... so what do you need."
"Guess what I got!" I sing songed and hid the two items behind my back.
"Tell me!" Ginna says excitedly.
"Okay well you know how there's a certain band coming to town and we both love them-"
She interrupted me saying, "OH MY FREAKING GOD YOU GOT BLINK TICKETS!"
She grabbed my shoulders and shook them excitedly.
Of course I got tickets! This has been the band that G and I have been obsessed with for the past year. She hasn't been this happy since I told her my 9 year old step brother fell down the stairs. G (that's what she likes to be called) really doesn't like him. He actually has a major crush on the poor girl and follows her everywhere... it's creepy. Little Eric is developing quite the problem with spying on women. He gets it from our step dad.
"I love you!" She giggled.
"Yeah the concert is in a couple days so they were really expensive," I explain. Only 250 each. I had to do a few deliveries for my brother to get that money.
"You are the best person ever oh my god thank you, what seats do we have?"
"Well we are on the floor, row thirty seven. And I heard that a lot of people from school are going to be there, so most people won't be strangers." G's mouth is dropped to the ground from finding out that we are going to be that close to the stage. Haha... I'm a good friend.
"We are here girls," G's mom, Dorin says. We jump out of the car and out to the park where Ginna's family has gathered, still talking about the concert.
"Tell me again why I am at your family's gathering," I ask my friend.
"I'm the loner, emo kid and I want company," she explains shrugging.
"Awww. Don't worry, I'll protect you from any deranged family members," I giggle and nudge her in the shoulder.
