                            Dawns P. O.V.

Dawn braced herself for impact. The ravaging winds and thunderous waves flung her and Piplup tumbling into the cold, curl ocean.

Underwater, she held her breathe for as long as possible, following Piplups trail. The ocean was dark and mysterious. Water pokemon swam by in schools. She kept her eyes attentive, unwilling to loose sight of Piplup who was swimming tentatively ahead of her.

Unable to take the lack of oxygen she thrust upward, wear the water met the air.

"Piplup?" She called out frantically. Thrashing her hands in the water, leaving splashes of water elevating into the air.

"Piplup?" Her screaming got more hoarse, she exerted her voice to louder proportions.

"Pip?"

Dawn turned her head. Relief struck her face like a shock of lightning. The urge of anticipation crept slowly away from her as Piplup poked it's head above water.

"There you are. Come swim to me." Dawn held her arms out wide. Piplup did as told and swam towards dawn. Once Piplup was intertwined with dawns arms she squeezed the water pokemon in a strong hug.

"Okay. we need to find the others." Dawn says, Releasing Piplup back into the water in front of her. But how? Dawn thought.

The sky above her, which moments ago was glaring with beautiful sunshine was encased in a shroud of darkness. Lightning sparked the sky and rain fell hard. Dawn was glad that when they were blasted into sea she called mamoswine back into it's pokeball. It wasn't necessarily a good swimmer.

Above her she see saw a pokemon flying with speed to escape the dangers of the storm. She reached for her pokedex and scanned the flying pokemon. "Braviary" the computerized voice said." The Valiant Pokémon, and the evolved form of Rufflet. Called "soldiers of the sky," Braviary fights tirelessly to protect its friends. If it has many scars, it earns more respect from its comrades."

An idea.. She did have an idea! She'd never done it before, But there's always a first time for everything. She grabbed a pokeball from her bag and threw it in the air.

"Togekiss!" She called out. The pokeball opened and with a stream of sparkling white light, togekiss flew up and down, round and around into the dark, windy chilli air.

"Kiss-kiss!" it sung proudly. Dawn placed piplup into her arms. "Togekiss, I have to find my friends. They could be in a lot of danger if we don't help them."

Seeming to understand exactly what dawn was thinking, Togekiss lowered herself significantly. With Piplup safely in her arms she mounted Togekiss and together they flew high into the raging winds, Her clothes and body soaked with water from the icy rain.

With as much determination as she was wet, she kept her eyes out for Misty, May and Gary. Unwilling to let anything happen to anyone.

                             Mays P.O.V.

Before the fall may called Blaziken back Into it's pokeball for protection. And less than a second from that had released her Wortortle. Placing her hands on it's shell for mobility in the water, they've swam around endlessly for a while.

"Hello?" Distant but audible may heard a male voice call out.

"Here! I'm here help!" She says.

A surge of hope overcame her. " I hear you but I can't see you!" The man called out. May noticed the voice belonging to the man wasn't such a deep manly voice, but rather the voice of a teenager.

"Wortortle" May says."Ice beam into the sky."

"Wor!"

A blue ball formed in Wortortles mouth, releasing a stream of light blue beams into the night sky. Illuminating the air.

"I see you!" The boy called out. "Keep it coming!" Wortortle kept the icebeams going. Leaving a trail of snow cascading into the ocean. May hoped the boy was cute.

After a while of this May saw the image of a boy and a pokemon he was riding on gradually getting bigger. "Woah" The boy said.

The boy was blond, his hair spiky and sticking up. Kind of like ash's. His eyes, a striking green. His face was pretty, he is cute. He wore a green and blue sleeveless shirt showing his toned arms. He also wore pants and combat boots. May noticed he was closer to her age than towards what she originally thought.

"Woah" he said again. "Woah" May replied.  May noticed the pokemon he was on. Having not seen it before, she scanned it with her pokedex,"  Carracosta, the Prototurtle Pokémon and the evolved form of Tirtouga. Living in the sea and on land, Carracosta has incredibly strong jaws and is capable of destroying a giant boulder with one powerful slap."

"Yep. That's my Carracosta." The blonde says, giving his turtle like pokemon a reassuring tap. "Costa!"

"I'm Blane by the way. Nice to meet you." He stuck out a hand. May, her hand wet with water took it."I'm May. And this is my Wortortle".

"You want to hop on? Unova is the closest region. Maybe a twenty minute swim."

May felt a her body fill with liquid emotion. Ash was just twenty minutes away. But Misty and dawn. She wasn't sure they were alright.

"I'd love to, but you see my friends, they sunk with the ship. I have to make sure there okay." May noticed the smile on his face faded. She couldn't help but fell bad.

"May!" She heard a familiar voice call her name from above her head. Keeping her hand above her eyes to block the rain, and her hands holding Blane's (Having not let go sense the initial handshake. May felt butterflies in her stomach about this.) To keep her from falling victim to the rouge waves she saw dawn and Piplup, flying on top of a Togekiss.

"Dawn!" May called out. "Dawn?" inquired Blane. "This is Blane." May yells out to dawn. Barley hearable from the sound of the wind.

"What?" Dawn yells back. Clearly not able to hear. "kiss-kiss"

"This is Blane!" She repeated once again. "He can take us to Unova."

Dawn had a smile on her face that May could barely see due to her being so high up. "What about misty?"

Blane shuffled nervously on top of his carracosta. The waves were once again getting unsteady. The group wouldn't have enough time to continue discussing.

"We'll ask officer jenny to send people out here to find Misty and Gary once the storm settles. it's to dangerous right now." Dawn nodes her head in agreement.

Putting Wortortle back into it's pokeball, she mounted the back of Carracosta and wrapped her arms around his stomach. Noticing how firm it felt, her body tingled. Ash was the only person other than Blane to make her feel this way. Of course she kept that feeling to herself.  "Follow!" May calls back. Her brown hair swishing every which way from the wind.

With Dawn soaring the winds behind them and her and Blane riding the back of Carracosta the trio made there way to the outskirts of unova. Completely unaware of what was to come...
