She was sitting at her large oak desk
feathered pen in hand
she was supremely talented
so she could not understand
why her page was empty
though she'd dipped her pen in ink
how long this curse would last
Sissy shuddered just to think
Trying to find inspiration
she read so many tomes
she read of far off places
of witches and of gnomes
Then something happened
when she'd been gone a week
her fans gathered outside the castle walls
it was her words that they did seek
They weren't an angry mob though they
carried torches for light
they said help us Princess Sissy
for our world is always night
Every soul amongst us
just wants to feel the sun
we used to feel it in your words
but lately there's been none
Princess Sissy ran back to her desk
desperate now to start
the pain of her followers
was enough to break her heart
Then she noticed next to her page
a beautiful, glowing Tiara
as she slipped on her head
she felt the resurgence of her aura
Then she dipped her pen in ink
and wrote many amazing things
she wrote some lines more beautiful
than angels earning wings
Running to the window
she dropped the pages down
her subjects read so intently
that no one made a sound
Then she said "My loyal subjects
please no longer feel fright
Where once there was only darkness
my Tiara has shed light"
