"...the killer? Again?! That's the fourth time this week!" the chief ranted at a vulnerable-looking policeman.

I'm standing in front of a crime scene, where the infamous Jeff the Killer claimed another family's lives. I tried to get past the police but they pushed me away, saying that it was dangerous for a little girl to be here.

Pathetic.

I want to meet him almost as bad as I want to meet my darling Slenderman. He seems like a curious entity. I have a record of his killings in a small notebook. Don't get me wrong. I'll always pick Slenderman over him. I just find him amusing.

Tilting my head to the side, I thought of a way to get past the guards and look at the corpses myself.

I innocently walked towards the back of the house where there was lesser guards. I crawled into the police line and sneaked over to the broken back door. I looked behind me to make sure no one sees me, then I slipped inside.

The house reeked of blood and burnt flesh. Gagging, I lifted the top of my dress and covered my nose with it as I made my way up the stairs.

"Which room should I look first?" I wondered out loud. Shrugging, I opened a random door and went in. It was the master's bedroom, and the sight was beautiful. The bodies lay sprawled on the floor, eyes open and weapons in hand. Did they know that Jeff was coming for them? Eh, it didn't matter anymore. They're dead.

Careful to avoid the pool of blood, I ducked under the police line again and went nearer to the corpses. They're throats had been slashed open and a smile was carved to their cheeks. Giggling, I played on it for a while before I noticed a bright red glow at the bed.

Being a curious child, I went over to it and stared in awe at a beautiful ruby crystal whose glow cast shadows on the wall. It seems that the police haven't investigated here yet. Well, they don't need to as they already know who the culprit is.

I picked up the crystal in my small, pale fingers and examined it. I wonder how it got here.

Suddenly, I heard the talking of policemen and I was forced to hide behind the door. I listened until I was very sure they were gone, then hurriedly went out the back door sneakily and running away towards the direction of our house.

~~~
"Lucy, why are you covered in blood?!" mommy screeched as I walked in, clutching the crystal protectively near my chest. I looked down and grimaced as I noticed I had unconsciously wiped my blood-soaked fingers on my dress.
"Mommy, it's Cinda, not Lucy! Honestly, she's been dead for 6 months! Get over it already!" I stated angrily, completely ignoring  her question. I then ran outside and climbed my partially finished blood red tree house and slammed the door shut before locking it. I know exactly what's happening now. Mommy is calling daddy and complaining how rude I was. Then daddy will come looking for me as she cries over Lucia's photos.
"Lucinda Oktyabrina Shassa! Get down here this instant!" I heard daddy scream from below the tree house. Rolling my eyes, I put the crystal on the table and looked out the window.
"What do you want?!" I yelled back and smirked at the look of horror in his face. Then, his gaze softened and I watched him climb the tree house. I groaned. Here we go again.
"Please pardon your mother's behavior Lucinda. She's just hearbroken. We all are after Lucia died. " he said as he sat on the floor cross-legged. I scoffed and turned away.
We stayed like that for 10 minutes before he sighed and left, knowing I won't speak to him. It's the same routine and the same excuses everytime they called me Lucy.
Plopping down on the bed, I stared at the glowing crystal. For some reason, I felt hate either coming out of it or me. I grabbed it and put it under the pillow.
I decided to spend the night in the tree house, so I wouldn't have hear mommy's cries and pleas for Lucia to come back. No, I'm not jealous at all. It's just irritating to hear the same thing over and over again.
I climbed down and ran to the front door, opening it slowly so they won't know I'm not outside anymore. I went into the kitchen and grabbed chips and soda then ran back outside.
~~~

I stood up and stretched while I yawned. It was already midnight and I've already finished 3 horror movies, 50 of my Slenderman files and 5 bags of chips.

Suddenly, I heard a distant chorus of screams. I ran to the window and gazed at the direction of the screams to hear more, but there was none. Scowling, I wondered if I just imagined it. No, it was real.

Turning around, I almost screamed as the whole tree house was engulfed by a bright blue glow. Pressing my back as far as possible into the wall, I picked the red crystal up and pocketed it. I looked back up and gasped.

Jeff the Killer is standing in front of me.
