TYRA STOOD IN a line waiting for the ceremony to begin. She was nervous to say the least her senior year had finally come to an end as quick as it started. Her father, step mother, and Lacey were their waiting for her name to be called.

Pretty soon she would be starting her music career and she was more then thrilled. Especially having the help from her best friend Lacey. The girl was pulled out of her thoughts as the music began playing.

She looked at the front of the line watching as it started moving forward. One by one they were called up to get their diploma. When Tyra's name was called she could hear her dad, step mom, and best friend screaming louder than anyone else in the room.

But she could also hear her mom. The truth was she finished school for her mother who she wished could have been there to see her walk across the stage. She knew how proud her mother would have been to be able to see something so special.

After the ceremony was officially over Tyra walked outside looking for her family and friend. Lacey watched as Tyra approached the three. Once she was a bit closer Lacey ran towards her friend practically tracking Tyra, who hugged her back at impact.

"I'm so proud of you Tyra. You did it, no more school." Lacey said excitedly, as she pulled away from the hug.

"I know, now we can go work on music." Tyra responded smiling brightly.

The two continued to talk as they walked over to Tyra's parents. As they came to a stop Lacey chuckled as she watched the parents pull the young girl into a tight hug.

"We're so proud of you." Fergie breathed out.

"Thanks guys. I'm proud of me too, and I know mom would be to if she was here." Tyra responded. The two adults pulled away from the hug and looked at Tyra.

"You know she would have been jumping up and screaming with us as you walked across stage." Josh told his daughter.

"I know, she might have been louder than the both of you combined." Tyra commented back smiling at the end. "I love you guys and thanks for coming into my life." She added pulling Lacey over to the group as they started to walk away from the school.

"We love you too, Tyra and we know you and Lacey are going to do amazing things together." Josh told her.

"Thanks dad." She replied wrapping her arms strings her father and Lacey.

"I know we will." Tyra added looking over at Lacey, who smiled at her in agreement.

"And that's the truth." Lacey added.
