The harsh whispers of the streets of the town of Glenn Falls  brought words of an experiment. Nobody knew where the rumours had started. Molly Springfield the neighborhood gossip claimed that she heard from her sisters, husbands, friends mother that the premise of the experiment would be centered around a few children in the neighborhood, but no one really believed her. The point was that the whole town was abuzz with the news. But the thing was nobody expected themselves to suddenly be part of the experiment with no prior notice. However, that's exactly what happened to fifteen-year-old Lani Richards one foggy fall afternoon.

Lani was dazed, one moment she was in the middle of a typical fight with her parents -they didn't have the best relationship- the next moment she was on a soft forest floor covered in dirt and malt. To say she was confused was a massive understatement. She stood up brushing the dirt off her jeans slightly disgruntled to see that there were rips in her jeans where no rips should be. She grabs a trusty hair tie off her wrist tying her long dark hair up, looking around her surrounding. There were trees as far as she could see, and she couldn't see anything, not even any birds.

Lani clenched her fists trying and ultimately failing to keep her calm. Her mom always told her that she her main problem in life was that she didn't think before she acted. This was true as her first reaction was to punch a tree, "THIS SUCKS ASS" she yelled, heart pounding, panting heavily. She clutched her now heavily bleeding hand on the verge of a freaking panic attack. Lani did not do well with being alone, when she was younger and still played with dolls, her mom had to be in the same room with her at all times or she would throw a mega tantrum. To try and calm her impending panic attack she let out another yell. Lets just say she was not expecting someone to answer back.
