“Thanks loads for this beautiful day”, I smiled up to Beau as he was escorting me home.

“It was a pleasure”, he smiled and poked me in the side. “It’s a real pity that you already have to leave... Will we see tomorrow?”

I smiled and nodded. His near still was causing butterflies in my stomach yet I tried to ignore these feelings he made me feel. Yes, I’ve to admit, I was maybe falling for him. Again. But was it that bad?

I mean, he has proven me how nice he can be. And my reaction at the ice shop a few days ago was really childish. I mentally face-palmed myself over and over again for this. Oh god! And I still hadn’t apologized to Jess... I am so stupid!

“Are you okay?”, Beau asked worried and looked into my eyes.

I lost myself in his hazel orbs and I could feel my smile grow with every millisecond watching him. He had the most beautiful face I’ve ever seen. How could someone not love him? He was nice and gentle and beautiful and adorable and- okay, maybe I needed to shut up. “Yeah, I’m perfectly fine”, I smiled and hid the lie.

He raised an eyebrow at me. “I can see you’re not. So, tell me, what’s wrong, beautiful?”

I blushed. I did everytime he called me ‘beautiful’! Do you understand why I like him so much, now? “Well, I had a fight with Jess... and it was my fault and I still hadn’t apologized to her. I wanted to but she... but I can also understand why she was like this. I had been a real bitch.”

Beau’s palms cupped my cheeks so I had to look into his eyes again. He was smiling weakly and I think my heart skipped a beat because we were so close. “Marlene, don’t take you down. You’re wonderful, okay? And if she doesn’t want to accept your apology she doesn’t deserve it. If you really want to I could ask Luke if he could talk to her.”

I smiled weakly and nodded. “That would be amazing! You’re the best, Beau!”

I giggled as I saw his cheeks turning red. God, blushing boys were so adorable! “You’re the best, too, Marlene”, he smiled and looked down at our entwined hands.

I hadn’t even realized we were holding hands. When had his hands left my face? But I didn’t mind. Maybe this all could work out. I looked up again to find Beau looking at my face. I blushed and his smile grew. “I know you’re still a bit mad at me but... would you go to the cinema with me tomorrow?”

“You mean like dating?” I asked and chuckled.

He blushed even harder and looked down at our hands again before he met my gaze. “Well, only if you want to. If you want it to be a date... But if not I’m fine with it.”

I grinned. “It would make me really happy to go on a date with you!”

His smile grew even wider and he nodded happily. “I’ll get you at seven, alright?”

I nodded. “I’m already looking forward to it!” I smiled. “Good bye, Beau.”

“Bye!” He smiled and stood awkwardly infront of me. I grinned and wrapped one arm around his shoulder to hug him. He wrapped his arms around my waist, too and I breathed in his scent. He smelt adorable!

We pulled apart. “Bye!” I laughed and went inside the house. I closed the door and leant against the door with a huge smile on my face. Oh my god! I would go on a date with Beau Brooks!

I checked the time on my phone and saw I had a text from Austin.
