Chapter 4
Kiyomi opened her mouth to scream, but no sound came out. The bug had already flown into her mouth! She stares at Azuma, her eyes blank. Suddenly, for some reason, Azuma and Dai had a very appealing scent, like apples. Her mouth started to water. . .

"Kiyomi? KIYOMI!" Azuma shouted repeatedly.
Something about that blank, emotionless on her face unnerved him. He had also heard the loud buzzing and decided to ignore it. Him and Dai had decided to go take a closer look at the meteor, and when he called Kiyomi to let her know about the small hole in the meteor, she wouldn't reply. At first he thought she had zoned out, so he yelled at her, but she still didn't reply and now Azuma began to suspect it was something much worse. Abruptly, Kiyomi started to lurch towards Azuma. Her gait is unnatural, Azuma thought, she seems possessed. And was she drooling?! Azuma was perplexed, Kiyomi never acted like this. It was then Azuma noticed Dai trying to fight off a giant insect with a large buck knife. The insect's malevolent eyes were staring intently at Dai's mouth, which was shut. Suddenly, Kiyomi jumped onto Azuma and began to pound him with tiny fists.
"KIYOMI, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Azuma roars. "IT'S ME, AZUMA!"

Azuma. Something about that name sounded familiar. For a moment, the parasite within thought it was the name of the young man that she was punching. Then, the insect quickly brushed that thought aside; it must have been the thoughts of the girl it was inhabiting. The boy's scent was very appealing, and as soon as he was knocked out, it could start feasting. Boy, what a good meal that would make! And after such a long time too! Then, a strong, powerful force picked up Kiyomi's body and threw her aside.

"Wha-" Azuma started to say.
"Azuma, get up! RUN!" Dai bellowed, "That thing in Kiyomi won't stay down for long! We have to move while we can!"
"Alright! Let's go!" Azuma replied.
Azuma and Dai frantically sprinted through the forest, with the possessed Kiyomi following close behind. She had stopped lurching, and was now in a full sprint.
How are we going to save her? Azuma thought nervously.
