"WHERE is that son of yours, hon?" galit na tanong ni tito.

Nag-aalala namang tumingin si tita sa asawa. "I don't know, but I hope that he's safe."

Napabuntong hininga ako at napatingin sa cellphone ko. I've been calling him for how many time pero hindi ito sumasagot. Is he mad? Is he that desparate to get rid of me?

Agad akong napapunta dito sa bahay ng mga Galvan dahil hindi pa daw umuuwi si Khalil mula kahapon. Damn it. Where is he? Is he avoiding me? Saang lupalop sya ng mundo pumunta?

Humigpit ang hawak ko sa cellphone ko. You're not going anywhere.

I heard them calling my name but I choosed to ignore. Kailangan kong mahanap si Khalil. Malapit nang matapos ang linggong ito, another week before our wedding, ayokong mawalan ng groom.

I immediately get in my car and drove down to Khalil's condominium. Narinig ko kasing minsan nago-overnght si Khalil sa office nya and he got no choice but to sleep on his condo dahil mas malapit ito sa company nya. It would take him about 30 minutes to get home. Kaya mas mabuti daw na doon na sya matulog kung ma ga-gabihan sya.

I stopped my car at tumingin sa mataas na building na hinintoan ko. Ang laki ng condominium na ito. He must have spent a lot of money to afford this.

Agas akong lumabas ng sasakyan at pumasok sa building. Lumapit ako sa front desk. The woman assigned immediately assist me. "Yes, ma'am? How could I help you?"

She immediately checked something on her desk. It take for a few seconds before she looked at me. "No, he's not here ma'am. May I know who's asking?"

Where is he? Kung wala sya sa condo nya, saan naman sya pupunta? "Ah, I'm Khalil's fiancee. And I'm worried of his whereabouts. Can I ask kung alam mo kung san sya kadalasang pumupunta?"

Napayuko sya. "I'm sorry ma'am but that is against our protocol. We can't give any private informations about our clients here. Sorry."
