I'm back! School has been taking up most of my time. Everytime I get home I arrive tired. But here we are!

My life was not the life of an ordinary person.
I had the duty to uphold my reputation as the princess of my kingdom. Or so my father, the king, was telling me at this moment.

After finding out that I snuck out of the palace to go for a nighttime horseback ride by the seaside, he called upon me to appear before him and started giving me a lesson on behavior out of the many I've already had before.

"You should behave like a proper young lady." I just stood there silently, having already heard those exact words before. "How many times do I have to tell you?," he asked. "But Fath-" "No buts!," he sighed, "I just want to keep you safe, Y/N." I looked up, seeing him sitting down on his throne, staring at me sympathetically. "Now please step out. I have business to attend to." and with that I left the throne room.

Walking down the corridors, maids bowing to me as I pass by, I kept thinking about my father's words. Ever since my older brother died after he had gone to the Red Forest and stumbled upon the dangers that lay within, my father had done everything in his power to keep me from doing "dangerous, reckless things."

Fun things.

But that was 5 years ago. And this is now.

My brother was going to inherit the throne, but after what happened...

Now I'm to be married to someone so that we can both rule the Kingdom. My father was thinking that I should marry the prince, Cha Eunwoo, from our neighboring kingdom. I'm good friends with him and he is a kind, good looking person, but I don't feel that way for him. I don't want to marry him.

After walking around for a bit, I decided to go outside for some fresh air. I went out to the garden. It was one of my favorite places to let out stress. Mainly because of a certain thing.

Just then, I heard a noise from around one of the bushes. I smiled, thinking of what it might be, or who it might be. I quietly snuck up to the bush. I jumped around the bush and shouted, "He-" Before I could finish, to my disappointment, it turned out to be just a rabbit.

Looking down at the creature with a pout, I felt somebody tap my shoulder, earning a flinch from me. Turning around, my eyes shone bright realizing who it was. "Got you.," the person said with a smile on their face. Just the person I was hoping it was. Kim Seungmin.

He was the gardener's son. He usually helped his father tend the flowers. Seungmin had a gentle soul and such a gorgeous personality. It's hard not to smile when he's around. When I wasn't off doing some reckless thing that my father would get after me about, I'd be here in the garden, with Seungmin.
