Hunter Bluestone.
" Hunter? You spaced out again." Alyssa tells me with a worried glance.
"Sorry, I was thinking about school..." I hate lying to her. I really do. But I can't tell her.
"Oh, okay. Yeah, that's cool. Just fine."
"You sound weird Alyssa."
"What does it matter to you? Like you care about me, it's just school, always school. No worries."
"What do you mean school?"
"Just don't worry about it." a silent tear slides down her flawless tanned skin.
"Hey, don't do that, you'll make me cry!" I playfully tell her. A really shitty effort even for me.
"Sure thing Hunter, sure thing." Just as she chucks me a bizarre expression and an odd smile before softly closing my bedroom door.
Okay that's seriously weird. Even for her, why did she start crying? That's not like her - nowhere near. She must be stressed about school or boyfriends or the same shit that teenage girls are constantly worrying about. I really must check with her about this... Meh, later.
I leap out of my king sized bed and pad over to my ensuite to have a scalding hot shower so I can try and wash all the vile lies away from my skin. I stripped the only thing I was wearing - blue boxers. Just as I was opening the shower door to turn on the water, a piece of perfectly folded paper caught my eye. It was wedged between the wall and the toilet cistern. I walk over to it anxiously, quite aware what it could entail. As my fingers close around the crisp paper, a loud sharp sound comes from my bedroom window. Scaring the living day-lights out of me. Literally, I almost shat myself. Quickly wrapping a towel around my hips, I walk towards the window. As I start to pull back the curtains, a rock hurtles towards me at lightning speed lucky I have good reflexes. I smirked as I saw who the thrower was.
"Oi! Just because you like seeing me in only a towel doesn't mean you have to throw rocks at me!" I yell at her once I open the window.
"Oh shut up Hunter, I've seen you in less! It burnt my eyes to be honest." She exclaims through laughter.
"Ava, you're such a bad girlfriend! So, so rude."
"Oh! Coming from you! You haven't even invited me in yet!" A smile escaping her pink full lips.
"Well hurry up then, I can only stay in a towel for so long..." Closing my window, making sure I shut the curtains, I don't think the whole neighbourhood wants to see what happens next.
"Ahhh, isn't that nice to see!" Ava shuts the door with her foot. "Your boyfriend, in a towel. Not bad abs if I may say."
"Not bad? What are you thinking m'lady?!" I scoop her up into my arms and place her on my bed. I shortly follow.
"Mmmmm, not bad at all," she says, giggling now.
"Haha, just what I thought."
"So, what cha doin' today?" She asks, unsuccessfully trying to get out from under my full body weight.
"Ummm, how 'bout this?" My lips lightly meet hers.
"Haha, you wish! I was thinking something along the lines of lunch?" she says as she breaks away from the kiss.
"If we must, where do you want to go?" I question, jumping off the bed to get ready.
"Ummmm, Maccas!"
"Ewww, yuck no. No way. Nadda. Not gunna happen." I tell her with my arms forming an x shape.
"I know, I know. I was just pulling ya balls." She giggles.
