Subject 083

Chapter 1

           (???'s Pov)

             "Subject 083, has escaped. Please remember he has telekinesis, I don't want you getting hurt from him" The P.A. said. "I'll be just fine. I promise. He's a very nice person." Alarms started blaring as guards rushed past and I sighed, "You better not harm my patient!" I yelled at them. I ran next to them, we passed guards that were on the floor. Then we saw subject 083, he had yellow hair and blue eyes, I step forward and I reach out my hand. "083...It's okay, I'm not gonna hurt you." I say as the guards aim at him, "Idiots put your guns down now." I say and then I get on my knees. 083 reached out his hand but not for my hand he pushed the guards and he started to run and I tried to get up but I noticed he had a bloody nose and I couldn't move, "B-BLACK!" I screamed out the name I gave him. I had always hated calling him 083 so I named him Black. Strange, I know. The alarms stopped and the PA system started up again "Unfortunately Subject 083 escaped but we will find him and take him back with force, or if necessary kill him." "You will do no such thing to my patient." I say and I am helped up by a guard but I shove him off, "Don't touch me..." I walk back to my office and sit in my chair. "Miss, I'm sorry about 083 but he is dangerous we need him back in here any way possible. If the citizens find out their government was doing tests on children our lab will be shut down."

"Why do you think I'm leaving..." I pick up a duffel bag and I shove my lab coat in it with my glasses and my hair band. "I'll find him myself and I'll help him be normal." "If the people find out about this, you will be linked back to this as well." "I just want him safe...and alive..." I sling my bag over my shoulder and I walk out of my office. "Don't think you are innocent, I assure you that if this place comes down we will be taking all employees new or old, quit fired whatever we will bring them down with us." "I'm just a doctor who your experiments talk to about their feelings. Plus who says once I know Black is perfectly safe that I won't turn myself in." "83's name isn't black I don't understand why you have a connection to him. He is just a subject." "He is also a human being." "You call his powers human. Well, I don't know what kind of fucked up everything is pretty and nice world you are living in but you better open your eyes real fast" "I call everything human except myself and my coworkers, cause we are the true monsters." I walk to the main entrance and then I walk out after raising my middle finger, "Adios, bastards."

(83's Pov)

I ran through a forest until I couldn't run any longer, I fell to my knees my nose stopped bleeding once I stopped using my powers. I had to get out of there I didn't want to be an experiment any longer but where do I go...and why did she call me 'Black' I don't know but I need to keep going they will probably find me sooner or later if I don't move. I get back up and start walking until I found a road? I think that's what they called it. I started to follow this road until I was met with a sign 'Welcome to Fairturbine' then a black car pulled over and I saw the doctor get out, I started to run past the sign, they found me way faster then I would've thought. "Wait! I want to help! I swear! I'm not taking you back there. I want to help you be normal...Why do you think your cell was unlocked..." I stopped running and turned towards her, she had her hair down and was in a pair of ripped up pants with a black tank top. Her eyes were blue like mine but her hair was a darker blonde, "Come On. I have clothes for you in the trunk, I also own a house in the town. We can go there and talk I promise. You'll be safe. I'll kill them if they try to hurt you."

I slowly started to walk to her but two other black cars pulled over and I ran from them as guards came out. I then heard her yelling, "Why are you here?! Hey, Let Go! Get Off Of Me!" Then I could hear a gun being cocked and a deeper voice, "Well we can't have you interfering, Miss Jae. You'll put us all at risk." "Let Me Go! I have to protect Black! I promised him!" "He obviously doesn't care about you." I turned back and held my hand out as my nose started to bleed again I made the guards let go of her and made their guns fly out of their hands then I went back to running. Jae then pulls up in her car with the passenger door open, "Hop in. We'll get out of here." I hesitantly got into her car, as soon as I was in she closed the door and then she sped off towards the town I believe. "Don't worry, you'll be safe with me. Sorry about that, I didn't know they were following me..." I nod and wiped the blood from my nose, "The more you use your powers the easier it will get and you eventually won't bleed at all." I look at my arm with the numbers '083' on it I then looked back up. She hands me a black jacket, "It was my brothers...He loved the color black and leather. You can keep it." I didn't put it on I put it on my lap and looked out the window.
