Keith walked to school Monday as he sipped his coffee cup in hope to wake up more his early in the morning again. He walked to the school and saw lances car as Rachel was there instead as she was leaning against the hood of it while talking to lance.

He avoiding looking over at the twins as there was girls hugging Rachel as old friends and she laughed at them hugging her friends tightly. Including Allura.

Keith looked down at his phone but suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder which made him jump to see Shiro behind him. Keith gave him a glare as Shiro offered a kind smile.

"Hey, how've you been?" Shiro smiled gently as Keith swatted his hand off.

"Fine, no thanks to you, what suddenly made you grow a pair to come talk to me?" Keith crossed his arms not noticing lance glancing at them from the parking lot.

"Well I don't see your boyfriend giving you a ride finally," Shiro offered and Keith scoffed.

"Did something happen? I'm worried about you Keith," he sighed biting his lips and Keith laughed at him harshly.

"Yea something did, I was introduced to a nice family who was very kind to me, now fuck off," Keith smiled sarcastically and pushed him out of the way.

"I'm not trying to be a jerk Keith I just wanna talk," Shiro stopped him again as Keith glared up at him.

"About how perfect your life must be without some clingy gay kid? I'll pass," he scoffed.

"And it's any better hearing you dating a bisexual? For all I knew your biphobic, just pic a gender right?" Shiro now glared at him as Keith sneered.

"You went experimenting! While dating me Shiro! At least lance broke it off before going to date someone else! It's not experimenting when he knows," Keith shoved him back.

"Now leave me alone," he pointed a finger at Shiro who was taken back.

"Didn't think you where a quitter Keith," Shiro rolled his eyes walking away.

"I'm not a quitter! I'm not scared of you," Keith spin around at him as he grabbed shiros wrist.

"Yea? Well you gave up on us Keith, I never said I wanted to break up, that was you," Shiro glared down at him.

"I gave up on us?!" Keith raised his voice.

"Yes!" Shiro threw his hands up.

"You. Threw me. Away." Keith snarled. "To go get some with a girl and a guy or whatever, you say I'm a quitter, at least I'm not a liar,"

"Hey is everything okay?" Lance walked over worriedly seeing the argument was getting heated.

"Stay out of this Lance," Shiro spat. He was the captain of the baseball team. Lance and Shiro were friend, team mates.

"Let's just take a deep breath you two, what's the proble-" Lance was cut off by a sharp hard slap from Shiro.

"I said stay out of this!" Shiro grabbed his shirt and lances eyes widen as some people stopped in shock at the two jocks as Keith had his hand over his mouth.

"Come on lance," Keith reached for him but Rachel came up before anyone could stop her as she collided her fist into his nose with no mercy.

"I don't care who you fucking are but touch my brother you'll get worst than a bloody nose," Rachel spat at him as Shiro was shocked by the girl as she looked exactly like lance but with more feminine features and long hair but she wore her brothers jacket.

"You guys okay?" She turned to the boys with wide concerned blue eyes as lance wrapped a protective arm around Keith glaring at Shiro.

"I'm fine, but you might have to tell mom I'm not trying out for baseball this year," Lance looked at Shiro dead in the eye as she crossed her arms nodding.

"I'll pick you up after school," Rachel told him and lance nodded at his twin and Keith pulled him away as people surrounded Shiro while Rachel started up the old car of their grandfathers with a roar.

"I'm not helpless," Keith shoved lances arm off of him but noticed the handprint on lances face. But the Cuban didn't seemed fazed.

"Neither am I but-" "no but's Lance, when it comes to Shiro, don't interfere even, just don't," Keith held up his hand annoyed but couldn't help feel guilt that lance got hit for defending him. But he couldn't get attached.

"Do you still have feelings for him?" Lance asked softly raising an eye brow.

Despite the deal, the way they acted as if it was fake... all of it... Lance looked at the artist in a different way, knowing Keith for Keith, spending time with him, getting to see Keith at his worst and best. Having each other's backs. They where a great team... and to Keith that's all they where, a team to get revenge. Even if it was lances idea, a part of him wished he could go back and-and ask out Keith like a normal person, now he didn't know if he'd get a chance to be in the relationship he only observed of them both, he didn't seem to really be there.

Lance wanted to tell Keith he would gladly get slapped for him again as long as he didn't have to see Keith cry, to feel doubtful. But that would mean his feelings are real...

Those feelings and enjoyment with Keith that Friday night were real. At least for him.

Lance waited for an answer from Keith as the mullet teen thought for a few moments searching for his own answer silently.

"I don't know, I mean yes but I hate him for what he's done, I don't know if I'd give him a second chance," Keith looked away with his arms close to his chest.

"Well what do you want to do?" Lance sucked in a breath looking at him softly.

"We keep going, I'm not that easy to fool," Keith smirked at him and Lance smiled back.

"Well my lovely not fake boyfriend," lance reached his arm around Keiths shoulders. "Shall we go to class?"

"Oh such a gentleman," Keith rolled his eyes sarcastically as he blushed a little at him as Lance smiled down at the boy while his own heart beat picked up.
