Plead.

Her soul weeps as he takes another sip,

Another sip of that cheap liquid,

Her teary eyes look onto her children who quiver in fear by the man who's supposed to protect them against all evils.

They wonder and wonder when this man who's supposed to be their knight in the shining armour turned into a silhouette of who he used to be.

The silent halls echo with the sounds of screams, shouts, bashes, upturned chairs and yet, all this while, it seems like the halls are silently mourning for the tainted fates of these little girls.

Gone is the respect towards a crooked father, gone is the love towards a wavering husband, gone is the feeling of a family in these four walls.

Now, all they do is plead. Plead for a dim light to pave their way through this cold darkness, they plead for a man who could love them, play tea-time with them, now, all they do is plead. Plead for a better life.
