-present time/Reno POV-

It was getting dark. The skies were turning a soft pastel shade of violet and navy blue with a hint of black above it all. The stars and moon could hardly be seen through the pollution covering most of the night but that wasn't the big issue at the moment. Even global warming could not compare to the big-ass problem that had arose.

It'd been approximately been half an hour since Tsuji and I were searching around for the damned T.V remote. I don't understand why people, my family, can't put the remote back on the stupid center table after using it. They just throw it all around the place. Honestly, they are just so careless.

"Found it!"

I looked up and found him holding the remote in one hand, waving it around in the air.

"Where was it this time?" I asked, frustrated, how unorganized my house stood.

"In the kitchen cabinet ..." he started, trying hold back his laughter.

"THE HELL?! HOW DID IT END UP IN THERE?!" I face-palmed at how hopeless my family was. "Anyways..." I continued, "where's the movie you rented?"

"On the table." he replied, turning the T.V on.

I slowly walked over to get the movie, when the bell rang.

*Ring Ring Ring*

'Did he actually come?!'

Tsuji rushed and opened up the door, without checking who it was. I swear, one day that habit of his will get him killed.

I wondered to it was. I heard a few words coming from the front but couldn't make out want was being said. I knew it wasn't Hanase, but it sounded the other voice quite familiar. That's when I heard sudden footsteps quickly pacing faster and faster through the hallway, heading straight towards me. A pair of long arms opened up, extending out to give a hug.

"RenRen~ Niichan's here for youuuu~♡"

'Shit...why is he here today? Is it my unlucky day or something?'

"H-Hi...niichan..." I said, moving aside, avoiding his hug.

"Reno that's mean.." he pouted at my distant movements.

"...."

Tsuji came walking slowly into the living space.

"So what were you guys doing?" he asked while tossing his belongings to the side and making himself comfortable on the sofa.

Me and Tsuji stared at each other and sighed.

'This night is gonna be one hell of a long one...'

- An hour later -

We all sat down infront of the TV. It was dark outside yet we still kept all the light closed in the room. The sounds of crashing cars and guns firing bounced of the walls, creating a dramatic atmosphere.

I leaned my head against Tsuji's shoulder and so did niichan. We sat there comfortably except Tsuji who was so engrossed in the movie plot. I munched on the big bowl of popcorn as each scene progressed, bored.

"Ah, by the way, I'll drop by for the movie too right after I'm done my shift."

'He hasn't come yet. Wonder where the hell he's at....'

I closed my eyes and slowly my conscious faded away.

'...mhm..'

I opened my eyes and found myself lying in bed. Something warm was beside me, holding onto me. A familiar hand was wrapped around my waist.
