Chapter fourteen - Damn you and your puppy eyes
Driving, that's all we have been doing for the past day. Non stop, Kenny's driving to the 'sea',which by the way is ages Away, I know the gas won't last that long and he knows it too but right now we are driving next to a cannel .
"Ken let's take a break" I said
"No" he snapped.
"Please" I said doing the puppy eyes.
"Damn you and your puppy eyes" he mumbled. "right break" he said then parked the car. We all got out and stretched our numb legs then all went to look around. I was walking next to the cannel then stopped dead in my tracks and bent down next to the water looking down,then fell back when hands came out the water.
There are walkers in the water!
I jumped up to run and tell them when I saw a boat on the cannel. I ran up to it and stepped on it and stood on the edge.
Kenny came running out.
"CLEM BEHIND YOU!"he shouted.
I spun around but go pushed to the floor by a walker. I shrieked, the snapping jaws of the walker were snapping right next to my neck. I was using all my might to try push it off but no matter how much I tried it just got closer. It's teeth were about to rip open my neck open when it got pulled off me. The weight lifted off me and i sat up to see Kenny beating it.I sighed and laid back and closed my eyes. Then I felt arms around me. I opened my eyes to be met with Kenny's.
"I thought he had got you!" he whispered hugging me.
"I'm fine ken" I whispered tightening my grip.
Kenny kissed my head then helped me up and carried on looking around. A cold feeling washed over me, I felt cold without him holding me, weird. I hate to say it but when he kissed me I felt warm inside. No, no I can't feel for Kenny, he's like family to me. It's wrong!
I can't feel something for him...can i?
