Chapter 1 (Lifetime in My Heart)
Tuesday morning, as usual, Kate Hollers is walking alone along the corridor. No one bothers to talk, get near or even look at her. It seems like she doesn't exist. But for her, that's okay. Instead of having a group of fake friends. She used to it, anyway. She's beautiful? YES. But she doesn't believe to herself, to her abilities. She hides her talents and beauty. Like now, she's wearing a long skirt, long sleeves shirt, close shoes, with her shoulder bag and glasses. She has a long curly blonde hair, with bangs. See? Imagine her. Of course with those attires, you can't see her beauty. She's shy to everyone around her. She's very quiet that's why she experienced being bullied by her schoolmates when she was at her freshmen year. But it stopped when a group of bullies was sent to Dean's office and suspended for a month. But of course there are still vilifications of her schoolmates about her.
As she reached their classroom, she went inside and automatically sat on her chair, which placed at the back of the room. And as usual, she's just reading a pocket book. She can finish a book with just a day. After 2O minutes, some of her classmates came in. Including Dianna Sy and Molly Carter. But before they sit, they turned to look at Kate, "Hey Kate! Nice skirt!" then they laugh. Dianna and Molly are one of the mean students in Hilberg Academy. They are the cheerleader captains. Kate won't say anything when they insult her. After how many minutes, their professor came in. They started their discussion. In the midst of their professor's discussion, a boy caught the attention of Kate. Matthew McCain, as usual, holding a ball, playing it in his hands, laughing with his co-players. Matthew is the MVP player of their basketball team, the notorious womanizer and Kate's long time love one. She never entered a relationship. Beside of no one courts her, she's also afraid of falling in love and be loved. Because....
"Ms. Hollers, will you please recite Lesson 51 pages 195 to 196 without looking on your book?" Mr. Lamarck said. They looked at her. Dianna smirked. Kate stood and recited the lesson vividly.
"Okay. You may sit." Mr. Lamarck continued his discussion.
Kate is an intelligent student. She's always the first honor. But for her haters, she will always be the Kate Hollers they know, and the one they hate.
After the morning subjects, the lunch bell rang.
Kate is eating her lunch alone at the music room. She's just the only one who eats there. She loves music. Singing and dancing are her talents. She can also play some instruments such as the violin, piano, drums, and guitar. She's very talented right? But no one knows those abilities of her except, of course, her mother.
Kate's POV
I love playing instruments, singing and dancing. I'm a shy-type, and nerdy style person. I don't know why. I don't know why I dress up like this. Maybe because for me not to have a boyfriend. Do you want to know why I don't want to have a boyfriend? It's be----
*riiiiinnnngggg* oopss.. the bell.
Talk to you later! XD
Third Person's POV
The bell rang. The students went to their respective classrooms.
As Kate reached their classroom's door,
"Ooppsss... Sorry!" Molly bumped Kate's right shoulder. But obviously she made that purposely. Kate didn't bother to pay attention to it.
The class started.
Matthew's POV
Hi ! I'm Matthew McCain. A MVP player of our school's basketball team. Without me, our school might be a looser! *smirked* (Author: Arrogant right? XD)
