The front door rings signiling the entrance of someone new. Throwing on a smile I saunter out front. "Hey guys do you have an appointment or are you here for something spontaneous?"The two girls looked at each other giggling "we were thinking of getting-"
The sound of the door slamming open cuts off the voice of the brunette friend.
"H-help. Someone help me" a little girl staggerd forward shouting. Clinging onto one of the customers she looked up with hopeful eyes "please, he's coming after me. You have to help me"
The brunette yanked her friend away peeling back her top lip in disgust "ew, keep your grimy hands off of my yuki" storming the girl slammed the doir sith a thud.
"Please, A-akum..." slumping forward the girl collapsed onto the floor blood spilling out from underneath her "h-hel-"
Before I could move forward my body froze, my brain stopped and everything seemed to start moving in slow motion, and then all at once everything was alive. My body burned as pain scorched its way through my every fiber. Falling next to the bloodied girl I could do nothing but stare at a man with a gun.
"Next time you should think before letting a ghoul into your store
Why did it take me so long to accept my half ghoul side? For weeks I was battling with the voice in my head; every person who walked past me the voice whispered "it would be so easy...just a little slit of the throat..." every girl who sauntered by "just a littlr taste...she would taste so sweet. Just clise your eyes"
I thought I was a monster, how could I, a human, have such thoughts it was immoral and disgusting.
I. Disgusted. Myself.
I never wanted to be this, this hybrid! I was forced into it!
I. Disgust. Myself.
